Chiral, a DJ from Dortmund, Germany with Italian and German roots, began mixing in 2020. Growing up in Germany’s Ruhrpott region, she developed a passion for blending groove and jungle techno, crafting sets that are both dynamic and engaging.

This mix delivers driving, groovy rhythms with deep basslines and crisp kicks. Hypnotic synths and tight percussion create an infectious energy, offering an intense, danceable flow that keeps the crowd moving from start to finish.

This mix marks a turning point for Ôneyra, as she shifts her focus toward production and the development of her live sets - so it will be her last mix released for a little while. Kollision is the brainchild of Bombay-based DJ and producer Kashish, a driving force in the Indian underground music scene for the past eight years. With over 300 shows to her name, she specialises in hard and groovy techno. Known for her fast, relentless, and ravey sound, Kollision’s forward-thinking sets span Industrial, Rave, Acid, Hard Dance, Hard Groove, Schranz, Electro, and Driving Techno. Operating at blistering tempos, she elevates her performances with peak-time classics that send dance floors into a frenzy.

Kollision has shared stages with renowned artists such as Nina Kraviz, Dax J, Perc, Cassie Raptor, Dixon, Lee Ann Roberts, Ben Klock, SPFDJ, and Kobosil. Her releases on labels like Now Now Records, The Meaning of Rave, DSTM Records, and Echo Recordings have solidified her place in the techno scene.

This mix was designed as a true collision of BCCO's vibe and Kollision’s signature style—a bold and unique fusion crafted to stand out.

Podcast #15 comes from our resident, Rocko Garoni. Known for his love of dark and melodic vibes, he wastes no time pulling us into his sonic world. Layer by layer, the energy builds, effortlessly gliding between the realms of techno, breakbeat, and IDM.

As we reach the middle of the set, things take a more straightforward and ravey turn – pure, unfiltered techno that hits you right in the core. But Rocko doesn’t stop there; he wraps things up with a beautifully melodic outro that feels like a perfect landing after an intense journey.

Berlin-based producer and DJ Lars Huismann has been carving out his own sonic niche within the techno landscape since 2011. Early explorations on his own LHR imprint laid the foundation for a sound deeply rooted in dub techno influences, blending old-school aesthetics of early 2000s styles with modern production techniques. This approach crystallized in his celebrated “Sounds From The Past” trilogy on Mutual Rytm.Throughout subsequent releases like “Catharsis,” (Mutual Rytm) Huismann continued to evolve, drawing on harder, darker sonic palettes without losing his characteristic depth and complexity. 

In his latest offering, the “Mechanized” EP (Monnom Black), Huismann fully embraces the often-overlooked realm of Tribal Techno, establishing it as a dynamic link between various strands of the genre and its darker territories. While Hardgroove has seen a notable resurgence and garnered renewed attention, Huismann’s intent here is not to align himself as a Hardgroove producer. Instead, he draws from Tribal Techno’s storied past—from Jeff Mills’ Purpose Maker series to Oliver Ho’s groundbreaking experiments—breathing new life into its legacy. With fierce 909-driven percussion, syncopated hand drums, and that late-’90s tension-building interplay of rides and claps, Huismann provshows es he can channel tradition without tethering himself to a single sub-style, guiding listeners towards a future informed by, but never confined to, the past.

“Mechanized” EP evoking a classic feel while injecting novel ideas into the mix. Just as “Sounds From The Past” reintroduced and recontextualized early-2000s tropes, “Mechanized” nods to the past while pushing forward. Each track—take “Dominion” with its filtered echoes, or “Orbital” with its hypnotising, resonant synth lines—hides an innovative twist amid the familiar rhythmic bedrock. Huismann employs these well-worn frameworks not as a nostalgic crutch, but as a means to slip in new sonic ideas under the listener’s radar, ultimately evolving the culture rather than merely replicating it.
