STIPP is one of the big talents from the new and upcoming generation in Amsterdam. Resonating with the raw essence of classic techno, his music brings a fresh and innovative perspective by skillfully incorporating elements from a variety of genres like (ghetto) house, garage, and old-school hip-hop. A versatile DJ and producer who, despite his young age, has already amassed an impressive discography, with releases on labels like Bipolar Disorder Rec, Planet Rhythm, Hardline, and soon on ec2aworldwide. You’ve probably already been dancing to some of his music at festivals, played by your favorite DJs such as Carista, Roza Terenzi, JakoJako, Mark Broom, Anetha, Nene H & FJAAK, to name a few.

STIPP - [I’m primarily a techno DJ and producer, but I’ve always had a deep passion for house music too. For this mix, I wanted to explore some of my favorite house sounds, some of which also border on techno. I absolutely love it when house and techno blend into one, and that’s exactly what I wanted to showcase here. The 284th Local Selection comes from Drogheda-based rising selector Emore, who guides us through a slinky set of warping progressive house cuts, an hour-long trip into alien territories and hypnotic rhythms.

Emore has quickly become a standout name in Ireland’s club circuit. The Drogheda-based DJ and promoter has earned a reputation for her expansive approach to selection, most at home within the twisted spectrum of house and techno.

Beyond DJing, Emore is deeply embedded in the community side of club culture. She’s been instrumental in reviving Drogheda’s once-prominent nightlife scene, helping to shape some of the town’s most formative collectives and parties, including Mood, Drogheda Groove Movement, and her latest project, Bubblegum.

This mix feels like a culmination of her influences, a sound that could easily have emerged from the eastern edges of Europe’s underground house scene. It’s chugging, sci-fi-tinged, and priggish in all the right ways: weird yet controlled, experimental yet irresistibly danceable. That balance, where forward-facing music still translates to the floor, is difficult to strike, but Emore nails it. The energy builds and mutates, never tipping over, maintaining a tension that makes you wish it went on for another three hours.

It’s the kind of mix that keeps you tucked into the back-left corner of the dancefloor, drink in hand, locked in those infectious, bleeped-out rhythms.

Local Selection 284: EMORE

Cryptofauna is a resident of Berlin-based crews TILT and Dissident. Her style moves between forward-pushing energy, warmth and darkness, linking abstract, textured and functional sound. With over a decade of experience in crowd dynamics, she shapes floors from deep immersion to euphoric peaks and back.

Across Europe, she has appeared at clubs such as Berghain/Panorama Bar and Säule, Tresor, OHM and RSO in Berlin, Macadam in Nantes, POING in Rotterdam, FVTVR in Paris as well as Club RAUM and Radion in Amsterdam. In summer 2025, she played first intercontinental shows in New York at Nowadays, The Lot Radio and Lettone. Towards the end of 2025, she debuts in China and Vietnam.

For this mix, she spent a full night digging and kept following new paths in sound. Once the selection was done, the material felt overwhelming yet clear in direction. The result for BCCO is trippy, slightly off, gritty and full of swing, carried by an organic momentum.

BCCO Mix Series 726: Cryptofauna

This mix is built on groove and feel, full of warm, high-energy tracks that steer away from the obvious choices. Blending her own productions with a careful selection of cuts, Jessie Dols creates a steady, rolling flow that builds naturally without overdoing it. It’s a mix made for movement, with a subtle tension that keeps the dance floor locked in.

Recorded at home after a long ADE weekend, it carries that loose, joyful energy but in a more intimate setting. The focus is on groove and rhythm — bouncy tracks, playful transitions and a few of Jessie's own tunes woven through to keep it together. It’s made for dancing and proper body-shaking moments.
