The guest mix in the second hour is by Nico Ramirez who's from Germany. He’s one of the earliest and long standing supporters of our show. The first mix he did for us was way back in Feb 2016 (show 054) and he’s a resident DJ with us. He also holds a monthly residency at Reykjavik Underground and he brings us an hour of dark, deep, rhythmic techno.

Her live sets take crowds all across Europe on deep, trippy excursions, and her new live project "TRY" will be premiering at Unsound festival this year for it's first outing in front of a crowd.

The first edition of the Fast Forward Audio Series for this decade, we present to you a special collaborative effort between Viscerale and Adam Askov of Funeral Future, they named the mix "Life is not a Beach". It came about as the result of a close friendship that was formed a year ago.
The tracks featured in the mix were all fixtures at the local club Tuben back in the early ‘00s and have been superbly mixed by Viscerale. It’s a rare glimpse into a sound that preceded our own contributions to the Copenhagen techno.

A staple component of New York’s techno renaissance, the name of Unter and Jack Dept. affiliate Volvox has become synonymous with surgical mixing technique and a certain square-shooting, take-no-prisoner approach towards dance floor business. Stamina-testing and raw to the bone, her music runs the gamut from skull-crushing 4x4 obedience to muggy 303-riddled salvos, abrasive house rhythms and everything in between. Remaining true to the original spirit of the Detroit pioneers all the while computing the next winning equation that’ll make ravers lose their marbles in an utterly new fashion every time the needle hits the groove, Volvox keeps on blowing minds for a routine. Add that RYC mix to her long list of face-melting sonic misdemeanors and red-handed audio assault; plain and simple, it's just criminally good.
