he Berlin-based producer duo Kalte Liebe keeps drawing their inspiration from Post-Punk, Grunge, Dark Wave, EBM, and Techno.
Coming with years-long experiences in different musical projects ranging from beat-making over metal bands, and more they started back in 2019 using a drum machine, a bass synth, and a wasted microphone, only.

Authentically recorded in a 12 square meter room Kalte Liebe started out as an experiment combining diverse influences by the likes of DAF, Falco, Thomas P. Heckmann and more into their distinctively analog, raw, and bassline-driven style.

While their productions are mostly consisting of an elaborated mixture of EBM and old-school Dark Wave paired with technoid characteristics and captivating, roughly distorted vocals in German and English the duo equally stands for tool-ish and highly energetic Techno – modern, pounding, and dirty.

With recent releases on labels like 01010100 Records, Vitus Curse and BFT, even more strongly performing self-releases like „Ego EP“ and their recent work „Dopamin“ they are slowly establishing their name in the scene and quickly growing their audience. With loads of unreleased work and their Vocal Live Performance Kalte Liebe is soon to be heard all over.

You most definitely have heard one of his tracks. His releases have filled the techno scene in a full manner, with the richness of his morphing sounds, sometimes poppy and bright, sometimes melancholic and evil. With grooves that could be jumpy and playful, or hard and deep, always accompanied by enveloping soundscapes, Part Time Killer has filled a gap in our music scene which no one knew it existed. 

It is a pleasure to present him now from behind the decks and see him getting nasty on this DJ Set. His pop side of course shined with some beautiful vocals and melodies, this time contrasting them with some real heavy drops and some dirty bass lines that would bring out of you that mad bass-face. Through an impeccable mixing he has lead us into the dark, mysterious, evil hell that killer belongs part time, to resolve bringing us into that beautiful shining side where he also part time exists. Full of unreleased gems that soon might see the light of the day on the most remarkable labels, this DJ set is full time banging!

Originating from Bordeaux, ÅMRTÜM spent five influential years in Berlin and now lives in Basel, Switzerland. This young French producer has explored various genres, including trap, house, pop, dub, and reggae, before finding his unique sound. As a sound engineer, he honed his skills over three years, working with clients like Netflix, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon.

ÅMRTÜM's music features analog textures and live recordings, often using his own vocals for a personal touch. His style blends techno with influences from rave, gabber, EBM, and the Berlin rumble, with powerful kicks and raw melodies. Recently, he's been creating bouncy, sexy, and ghetto-infused sounds, always pushing the boundaries of electronic music.
