he Berlin-based producer duo Kalte Liebe keeps drawing their inspiration from Post-Punk, Grunge, Dark Wave, EBM, and Techno.
Coming with years-long experiences in different musical projects ranging from beat-making over metal bands, and more they started back in 2019 using a drum machine, a bass synth, and a wasted microphone, only.

Authentically recorded in a 12 square meter room Kalte Liebe started out as an experiment combining diverse influences by the likes of DAF, Falco, Thomas P. Heckmann and more into their distinctively analog, raw, and bassline-driven style.

While their productions are mostly consisting of an elaborated mixture of EBM and old-school Dark Wave paired with technoid characteristics and captivating, roughly distorted vocals in German and English the duo equally stands for tool-ish and highly energetic Techno – modern, pounding, and dirty.

With recent releases on labels like 01010100 Records, Vitus Curse and BFT, even more strongly performing self-releases like „Ego EP“ and their recent work „Dopamin“ they are slowly establishing their name in the scene and quickly growing their audience. With loads of unreleased work and their Vocal Live Performance Kalte Liebe is soon to be heard all over.

From funky House Grooves to bouncy Techno, Up-Tempo Trance, Acid, Breakbeat or Baile Funk. She merges various genres together in playful ways which makes her style as diverse as the audience on the dance floor.

Berlin-based DJ SPORTSCHUH is an active name in the SPEEDHOUSE scene, known for his high-energy mixes and club performances. He has performed at venues including RSO, Übel und Gefährlich, Gotec, Artheater, Teletech, and Boiler Room, entertaining crowds with his unique fusion of house music at a techno pace.

This mix kicks off with uplifting beats and bouncy basslines, layered with soulful vocals and atmospheric touches. As the energy builds, SPORTSCHUH transitions to more club-focused elements, ensuring the mix is as compelling on the dance floor as it is for casual listening.

BCCO Mix Series 500: DJ SPORTSCHUH

The Muffin Man is a rising force in electronic music, turning heads with both her distinctive name and boundary-pushing sound. Set to make international debuts at clubs like Khidi, RSO, and Intercell, she has built a reputation for her clean-cut, genre-blurring style—what she calls “sewer grooves.” Blending rolling basslines with elements of tech-house, psy tech, and hard groove, her high-energy sets deliver a fresh, danceable, and infectious sound.

This special mix for our BCCO x ÜBERKIKZ takeover for International Women's Day was recorded in her home studio in Berlin, capturing tracks that reflect her current inspirations. 

She weaves together different genres, allowing them to shift naturally after a few similar-sounding tracks—both for the fun of mixing and to showcase electronic music’s overlooked sides, including tech-house. Her aim is to embrace inclusivity in sound and expand what it means to be a techno artist today.
