Bringing some vintage heat to the VA, LA-based 1morning drops “Like a Funk Machine”. As the name suggests, this one leans into classic funk elements: organs, piano, shakers, and quirky synth chops riding a driving, crunchy low end. It sounds and feels old-school for a reason.

Closing things out, @najeh-music contributes a bouncy, well-balanced composition to this compilation. Influenced by the late ’90s and true to his motto - Kick Drum, Bass Line, Hi Hat - Najeh doesn’t need much to craft a highly effective dancefloor heater. With a tight, well-mixed low end as the foundation, some vocal chops, and hihat drum variations, this release stands strong on just a few elements.

Zombies In Miami is a project created by Cani & Jenouise and despite the name they are not crawling around Miami, but shining out their light from Mexico. The couple became one of the most prominent members of Mexico's vital electronic scene over the last decade. You can call their sound a rhythmic and synth-driven house and techno hybrid.

He released a single on his own label, birthing his imprint Big Trouble Records and quickly received support from those leading charge in the underground dance scene.
