In its 4th installment, JIN, the Taipei, Taiwan-based label, continues its cosmic journey with a set of tracks that simmer between peak-time dance floor and early morning afterhours vibe. First upsee Bangkok's Siamese Twins mainstay Sunju Hargun, 1/2 of Mogambo, returning to JIN with two A-side tracks.

The first “Chale” is a modern ode to classic trance that will leave dancefloors from Bangkok to Berlin in ecstasy. His second track-フーイズカサンドラ("Who is Kassandra") is a post peak-time 7-minute acid bomb that spins and reverberates in every direction. 

The B-side features two remixes of “Chale”. First up, Barcelona's wunderkind Marc Pinol removes the trance needle and rebuilds the track creating a perfectly dubbed-our cosmic trip between musical galaxies. Finishing the E.P. Taipei's own Initials B.B. incorporates guitar samples turning the original into a futuristic, new wave-like slow burner that leaves one floating between planets.

The second episode features my friend Artificial DNA and his track "Talk Again." The song stands out with its minimalist production, creating a smooth and atmospheric vibe. Nikusha Chavchavadze aka Pierce, Georgian producer based in Tbilisi, comes next to the KYSH neighbourhood with a solo EP. Five original tracks emphasize his elegant style – modern, layered, focused on the low end, yet classy in the rhythms’ form. Raw and wobbly chords go hand in hand with excellent tension building. Rattling hats are smoothly balanced with sub bass work.

Let’s not forget about three exceptional artists on remix duties. Contakt, Cirkle and ogtrues delivered some speedy, soulful versions of Pierce’s work. The whole material rounds up as hyperfunctional dancefloor heat, well tested by some big figures in the game all over Europe already.
