Following the success of the duo’s ‘Forte’ album earlier this year, Pan-Pot’s highly esteemed Second State label is thrilled to announce the release of the 13th edition of the ‘Sum’ Various Artist Compilation. As a celebration of Techno music, this compilation showcases the genre’s finest, promising to leave a lasting impression on enthusiasts worldwide.

The tracklist, curated with precision, features a diverse range of artists, each contributing unique sounds that encapsulate the soul of techno music. The compilation initiates with the pulsating energy of “Warehouse Impulse” by Audio State, setting a high-octane tone from the outset. Ben Champell’s “Give Me That” follows, with its raw and powerful sound captivating listeners. The hypnotic journey continues with “Basic Instinct” by Bruce Zalcer, showcasing intricate melodies and driving rhythm. Chris Hirose & RNDTXTR collaborate on “Sits,” a track that fuses deep basslines with harsh percussion and pulsating synth stabs to create a mesmerising atmosphere.

ELBEREC brings another release dedicated to Techno. Keeping the groove from the previous releases, the producer from Malta Joseph Spiteri delivers again rhythmic percussions, deep basses and hypnotic vocals. The first track, “Dim Speech” holds the hypnotic vibe within a calmer and industrial ambience, demarcated by distorted hihats. “Don’t Stop” is a breath of fresh air to the dancefloors. With an intrinsic coldness, this track is hard but also gentle, groovy and bouncy. “With it”, is a classical deep techno track driven by high speed congas. The dutch producer JP Enfant added some electrifying synths to “Dim Speech” in his remix. The Portuguese duo from Barreiro, ERR0, also made a remix of this “With it” in a faster pace and adding a bassier kick. It’s steady tone is the missing piece of the new recording from the Portuguese independent label, that always carries out the best of the underground fiery talent to broader audiences.
