The identity of the SLV project is not well-defined, but rather takes on many shapes and forms, covering a range of dark moods and cold grooves. Born in east Berlin, the city's brutalist architecture, its concrete monoliths and dreary streets helped shape this artists sound, which remains a unique take on an ever-changing genre. His releases on Soma and Pls.UK among others are a testament to his consistent output, just as his frequent stints in clubs all around Europe demonstrate his prowess as a performer. His hardware-based live-sets combine driving basslines, trancy elements and acidic melodies to form a highly conductive solution for body and mind.

The young artist keeps a unique balance between percussive rhythms and hypnotizing athmospheres, maneuvering from light to shadow, from gentle to hard.

He's part of Voxnox Berlin and resident at renowned PAL nightclub in Hamburg. As a producer, Lifka has shown his versatility with outstanding releases on Voxnox Records, EXHALE, Space Trax and many more.

SLV's flawless productions have already garnered attention from SLAM’s own Soma Records, where he has released an album and several EPs, as well as Tale of Us, Ilario Alicante and Cleric to name a few.

From a young age SLV , developed a deep passion for music growing up in a family of music enthusiasts, he was surrounded by melodies and rhythms from early childhood. His father and uncle, both music enthusiasts, instilled in him a love for the work behind the scenes, fueling his creativity and opening the door to a world of sonic possibilities. After honing his musical skills and acquiring a solid foundation of knowledge, he decided to embark on his career as a DJ.
In 2011, driven by a thirst for new experiences and eager to explore the music landscape more deeply, he took a bold step and moved to Berlin. This vibrant and ever-evolving city became his new home, offering an ideal setting to cultivate his passion and develop his talent.
Berlin proved to be a forge of inspiration, here, he found the freedom to express himself through electronic music, finding fertile ground to explore new sounds and genres, he made his entrance into the Berlin club scene, performing at some of the city's most iconic venues, including the legendary Tresor, Arena Club, and Griessmuele, just to name a few. His stage presence became increasingly recognized, thanks to his engaging performances and ability to create a magical atmosphere that captivated the audience.
In 2024, he further solidified his presence in the music industry by joining the esteemed label Mutual Rytm, alongside heavyweight artists. This pivotal move marked a significant milestone in his career, aligning him with a platform that amplifies his artistic vision and reach. Anticipating an exciting year ahead, there are promising developments on the horizon for SLV, promising to propel his career to new heights.

SLV has demonstrated an innate talent for music production. In 2016, he made his official debut with a release on the prestigious Soma Records label by Slam. His track "Transition" was included in a various artist compilation. Since then, he has continued to release music, with his subsequent release on Ilario Alicante's Virgo label marking a turning point in his career. He has received remixes from artists of the caliber of Setaoc Mass, Cleric, Thomas P Hackemann, Conforce, Border One, and others. He has also garnered support from internationally renowned DJs and signed further releases on prominent labels, such as Fabric for a compilation curated by Amelie Lens, where he and his friend Z.I.P.P.O worked on an intro.
He has developed a distinctive musical style that combines elements of techno and house to create a unique blend. His sets are characterized by evocative atmospheres, infectious grooves, and enveloping melodies. His musical influences span from legendary artists to contemporary innovators who have contributed to shaping his unique sound.
