Doug Locke is an artist from Houston, Texas with more than 10 years in the industry.  As a musician his influences include Prince, Jimi Hendrix, Lenny Kravitz, Rihanna and Madonna.  His work has been featured in Billboard Magazine, The Huffington Post, AFROPUNK, Out Magazine, Idolator, GLAAD, Logo’s NewNowNext, Upworthy.com, PopMatters.com, American Songwriter, Blurred Culture and many others. His Spotify counts over 1.1 Million streams.

His debut single “#ThisCouldBeUs” hit no.32 on the iTunes Hot 100 chart.  The music video for this song has over 1.3 million views and his video for “In or Out” was nominated for “Best Indie Music Video” in the 2018 Queerty awards.  Locke returned to Houston to film his music video for “KING” which has a strong anti-bullying message and themes of self-empowerment and love. 

In addition to playing shows at legendary Los Angeles venues like The Roxy, The Hotel Cafe, Dirty Laundry, Sassafras Saloon, and Boardner’s, Locke has headlined Portland Pride Festival, performed as a part of LiveXLive's "Music Lives On" Festival, and supported Gavin Turek on the “Good Look for You” tour.  He has made televised appearances on kCal/CBS ‘Morning Show: Los Angeles’ and ‘Great Day Houston.’  Locke has recently released the “Black Travolta EP,” and the “Why? EP,” which are the first 2 in a series of 3 EPs known as “The Lunar Series.”

Prior to the launch of Chic Vinyl Records in 2013, company founder Gilles Petelle had successfully established L Music, an independent Canadian record company and Kali Publishing.

A veteran in the music industry with over 35 years experience Gilles Petelle artistic roadmap consists of diverse and complementary experiences. 

It all began in the early 70’s while spinning records in clubs and working at a local campus radio station as a DJ. It’s during this time that Gilles got his foot in the music industry door and began working for a music distribution company.

In the early 80’s, Gilles made the transition to the retail side of the music industry as a buyer. Soon after, he was working for an indie label and quickly moved up the ranks to become the promotional representative for that label. 

This proved to be an important decision, Shortly after, he was hired by BMG Music Canada where he spent almost 15 years developing professional relationships with media and industry peers as the local promotional representative.

Since then, Gilles has turned his attention to independent production. This is when he founded his own first record company, L Music in 2001 and devoted his time to finding unique artists such as the popular band Human League. He proceeded to license and release the band’s new album, Secrets in 2002 via L Music in Canada, creating a groundswell of interest that has rekindled passions for this veteran act.

After Human League, Gilles turned his attention to an Athens, Greece based group called Astyplaz. In 2004 he signed a worldwide exclusive deal for the band’s first full-length release, Name Your Slippers. This was followed with a Canada only deal for the band’s second full length, Bi a few years later. Bi was simultaneously released for the rest of the world via EMI (Greece).

Meanwhile the publishing division, Kali Publishing provides approaches and negotiations to develop and open up the international markets.

California based SUMMER GOODTIME is an audible collage artist focused on psychedelic-world-music, a professional knob twiddler, dot connector, pattern recognizer, pixel pusher, event producer, marketer and experience designer.  They paved their way into the culture by publishing a magazine about the scenes and its influencers, throwing parties, establishing a venue, producing concerts and music festivals.  The audiences’ enjoyment of these experiences was undeniable, demand quickly grew and so did their passion for creating these offerings for others' pleasures.  

A regular in the West Coast underground music scene, SUMMER GOODTIME has been given slots alongside legends like Matthew Dear, John Tallobot, Heidi Lawden and Dave P to name a few they most look up to.   Over the years they’ve had thousands of people up and on their feet dancing, sharing unforgettable experiences together.

Passionate about championing the power of unity and variety, SUMMER GOODTIME was originally part of Pacific Festival, a music festival created to support and promote all artists and experiential marketing group Collaborative Media, a production team for select brands.  Since then they have gone on to found the all inclusive Casa Bar in Costa Mesa, having become aware of the desperate need to tackle the issue of inclusion within nightlife, was the Talent Booking Manager for the legendary Dim Mak Studios at Cinespace in Los Angeles, and was a Culture Community Manager for Red Bull North America.  

Their logo is called "Unity and Variety," developed upon three pillars: connectedness, inter-relations, and harmony, the organic shapes representing variety and the geometric shapes representing unity, together as one the form is intended to convey balance and ascendance.

SUMMER GOODTIME is currently working on new projects, and available for select bookings and collaborations.

VNSSA has always had a passion for music even as a child. The Newport Beach native now calls Los Angeles home and has fully immersed herself in the local electronic scene. Although Santa never gave her the turntables she wanted at a young age, she soon found herself drumming in local rock and indie rock bands. From there she learned to DJ, and started performing at local clubs and house parties.

Her debut single was released in early 2018 and she has since released multiple singles and EPs on labels such as Dirtybird Records, Higher Ground, Techne, Rules Don't Apply, Sweat It Out, Realm, and Trippy Ass Technologies, including a Beatport #1 with “Word” a single in collaboration with Walker & Royce on Black Book Records/HotBoi. Catching the platform's attention, she was later named a Beatport “Next” artist, and received further support from tastemaker platforms like This Song Is Sick and Data Transmission.

Her live sets cover the length and breadth of house, breaks, and techno, although don't be surprised to hear some classic disco as well. VNSSA performs regularly at well-known venues all over the world. In addition to playing her own shows, she has performed with numerous prominent acts such as Chris Lake, Claptone, Destructo, Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Nora En Pure, Dombresky, Walker & Royce, Cassian, Fisher, AC Slater, and many more. 

Most recently, she released murky tech house number “In The Dark” on the first-ever Femme House compilation on Insomniac Records. The eleven-track package is built around the ethos focused on equality and empowerment.  

Looking ahead, VNSSA is set to drop an EP on Diplo's esteemed Higher Ground imprint, a milestone release for this fast-rising talent. She will also perform at some of the biggest festivals in North America in the coming months, including Outside Lands, Imagine Festival, Nocturnal Wonderland, Seismic Dance Event, not to mention her first ever headline tour.

VNSSA does not exist in the world of music because it is her choice, she exists in it because it is her calling.
