A key driving force behind the Middle-East's underground scene, Maks recently made his debut at SW30 and SWDUNES. Here is his recording live from SW30!

After spending the first 25 years of his life in London, Maks moved to the Middle-East, quickly establishing himself as a trailblazing and leading artist, and a pillar of the regional community. Considered to be the originator of minimal and microhouse music in the region, Maks paved the way by inviting, and collaborating with, some of his favourite artists from around the world, most of which had never appeared in that part of the world before.

In his early days, Maks was influenced from growing up in the garage and jungle music environment. Today, he draws inspiration from Chilean electronic dance music visionary Ricardo Villalobos, as well as other formidable artists such as  ‘Perlon’ label co-founder Thomas Franzmann aka Zip, ‘Minibar’ label head Cabanne, and ‘Fabric’ & ‘Houghton Festival’ curator and resident DJ Craig Richards.
