Marvin Moore, artistically known as Marvylus is an American rapper, songwriter, music producer, Youtuber, and Entrepreneur. Marvin was born on April 12 1996, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. His mother died in 2010 while he was a freshman in high school. He attended and graduated from Sand Creek High School in 2014. His dream to pursue music began at the age of 12 in 7th grade after being introduced to the classic off the top freestyle alliterated by the late Brooklyn legend, The Notorious B.I.G.

He first released "Where I'm From" on Soundcloud in 2016 then a few months later he started releasing all his originals on all major streaming platforms. He joined the popular hip hop collective LoUd Life Crew in 2017. Marvylus went on tour with platinum selling artist Kirko Bangz in 2018. In 2021 he produced "Spin Da Block" featuring SwizZy B and 2017 Freshman XXL cover artist Kap G. He is known for his songs "Today", "Nobody", "Why They Call Me Marvylus" and "Goku Black" on Spotify and all streaming platforms. He is also known for his high energy live performances with LoUd Life Crew at shows and events including high profile artists like Raekwon from Wu Tang Clan, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Snow Tha Product, Tech N9ne, Smoke Purpp, B.o.B., Shoreline Mafia, and YBN Nahmir just to name a few.

With change came a new attitude and outlook on life, from becoming more open-minded with a new sense of laidback style to changing the way he viewed himself and the people around him. Even though his talents lay outside the realm of academia, the progression that David went through in college as not only a person, but as a musician was evident. The music D-Stylz creates speaks to the person he is; his songs are motivating, his lyrics are genuine, his message is inspiring, and his potential and possibilities are endless. From opening for acts such as Mac Miller, Afroman, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Dizzy Wright, Flatbush Zombies, Shwayze, Snow the Product, Nappy Roots, to performing local shows in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Fort Collins, D-Stylz has achieved a notable amount of success in the hip hop industry while remaining humble. “Never Satisfied” is something that a person could catch D-Stylz saying to anyone at anytime because David himself is not the normal hip-hop artist; it isn’t about the money and accolades. His drive stems from getting his message out there and affecting the masses through his lyrics. Colorado-based self-proclaimed "Southern Gothic Hip Hop" "Outlaw Rap" or "Red Dirt Rap" artist, Derrick Matthews is from Tulsa, Oklahoma but is based out of Colorado Springs/Denver, Colorado. Derrick defies the boundaries of music genres and bends them at will. Matthews’ musical influences are diverse and eclectic. The songs Derrick Matthews creates often signifies those influences: Johnny Cash, Jim Morrison, Tech N9ne, and others who may or may not be on your personal playlist. Derrick has also been influenced by Three 6ix Mafia, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Waylon Jennings, Sturgill Simpson, Jimi Hendrix, and various death metal bands. Embracing and appreciating artists who express their truths and the truths of those who cannot find their own voices are attributes that Matthews personifies. 
Although Derrick was born in Tulsa, OK, his background and even his racial complexity is the same as his musical preferences: diverse. His family life included moving to various states and different counties which turned out to be a positive for an artist who values each individual’s stories and scars earned from different walks of life. This free-spirited upbringing has empowered Derrick, giving him the opportunity to learn firsthand from various cultures and communities along the way. 
Derrick has often described his music as raw and unfiltered, a storyteller singing songs about his travels and journey. Albeit a storyteller with jagged edges, sharp wit, and a no-holds-barred effect on his audience.
