It's impossible to think back to the atmosphere of the dancefloor this night without grinning from ear to ear like a child in a toy store.
We are so lucky to so quickly have such a ridiculously incredible community of sonic journeyers in which to share our passion for such hugely talented artists London is so starved of. The reception Thommie G and Kapoor received in their debut London performances encompassed the exact motivation for Sanctuary Sessions and to feel the connection and love between strangers on the dancefloor melded by the talent of these two couldn't have rewarded us any more for putting on the event. 
Grateful to have these opportunities to meet such people that inspire my passion for music as much as they inspire replacements for the 'volume up' buttons of my Iphone. 
My imposter syndrome burns bright as hell to share the lineup with Thommie G and Kapoor, and also with fellow Sanctuary Sessions curator kayBe, who is firmly making her mark on the London club scene in her own groovingly beautiful way.

The Lovers represent relationships and choices. Its appearance in a spread indicates some decision about an existing relationship, a temptation of the heart, or a choice of potential partners. Often an aspect of the querent's life will have to be sacrificed; a bachelor(ette)'s lifestyle may be sacrificed and a relationship gained (or vice versa), or one potential partner may be chosen while another is turned down. The Lovers | NTY

We welcome Doga Erbek for the ninetieth edition of the 'Deep In Mix' series.  

Doga Erbek is a Turkish DJ and producer known for his captivating performances and intricate musical storytelling. Born in Geneva, Switzerland, and now residing in Montreal, Quebec, Doga’s journey into electronic music began in 2008. Reflecting on his early influences, he cites Axwell's "Feel The Vibe" and David Vendetta's "Bleeding Heart" as pivotal tracks that ignited his passion. His first encounter with DJing came during his university years in Ottawa, where he started spinning in 2010. By 2016, he was crafting his tracks, interweaving Organic/Melodic House, Afro House, and Progressive beats taking listeners on a mesmerizing journey.

Doga's sets are known for their unique blend of genres, combining melodic grooves with a touch of Afro House to create an irresistible rhythm that gets the crowd moving. His approach to music is about creating an experience rather than conveying a specific message, allowing each listener to find their own story within the beats. "I hope this ride you're about to experience is as smooth as possible," he shares. Throughout his career, Doga has graced stages at renowned festivals and clubs, like the Escapade Music Festival in Ottawa in 2016, and he has since performed twice at Quebec’s Natural Frequencies Festival. A highlight of his career was performing internationally at the Circle Of Life Festival in Turkey, an experience he cherishes deeply. On the club scene, Doga has found a home at City At Night in Ottawa and Le Salon Daomé in Montreal, where he delivers unforgettable performances that resonate with electronic music lovers.

Doga’s appreciation for legendary DJ Hernan Cattaneo exemplifies his devotion to his art. Hernan's exceptional taste and skill continue to inspire Doga, fueling his passion and drive for creating music. "The Maestro holds a special place in my heart," Doga says, having experienced Cattaneo’s marathon sets at Stereo Afterhours, a club he regards as the best in the world. Doga's releases, such as his single "Wondrous Tales" on The Purr's "Hidden Gems" compilation, showcase his evolution as a producer. With upcoming projects on RYNTH and Circle Of Life Music, Doga Erbek stands as a dynamic presence in the electronic music world, urging audiences to delve into the boundless potential of sound.
