As a DJ and promoter Rick Wilhite has been holding it down for over 20 years, and his 'Vibes - New & Rare music' record store has been a main source in Detroit for soulful electronic music until it's closure. The tracks selected for the 'Vibes New & Rare Music' compilation truly represent the artists, Wilhite says. After releasing Vibes 1 in 2010, he delivers the sequel, featuring pioneers and new talents alike from Detroit, Chicago and New York.

DJ, Producer and Label Owner Sebastian Groth (born 1984 in Westerwald near Frankfurt aM, Germany) discovered early his musically interests. At basic school he already created his first „band“. In the early 90s he sympathised with the electronic music in form of Rave, Gabber and Dancemusic So quickly emerged the instrumental music. At the age of 12, he acquired his first music produce...r software. He learned fast, so only two years later followed the turntables and his DJ career took its course… Bookings in clubs like U60311 / Frankfurt aM, Butan Club / Wuppertal, Tor 3 / Düsseldorf, at techno festivals as Ruhr in Love / Oberhausen or radio performances such as Sunshine Live, are only a few of the stations on his DJ-career. From the years 2000-2006 he operated in the notorious party series “the castle-freaks“ as original member, presenter and resident – DJ. He brought the first world elite DJ..s to the little scene in Westerwald, Germany and celebrated relevant achievements. In September 2008 his first international Records was released and landed straightaway in the top 5 of many relevant national clubmusic-store charts. Through this release „House Legend" George Morel gets attention to him, who loved his stuff and signs him to his well known label "Groove on" and gave Sebastian a chance to Remix Morels club classicer "lets groove" From 2009, it's going always straighter with his producers, followed by releases to: Italo Business, Elektrax, Construct Rhythm, TK-Rec, Android Musiq, Amazone and many many more. These Releases are played by: Dave Clark, Chris Liebing, Len Faki, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Laurent Ganier, Space Djz, Monika Kruse, Gayle San, the Advent, Umek just to name a few…

Dj Bio Tec wurde 1981 geboren und begeisterte sich schon in seiner frühen Jugend für elektronische Musik. Mit 15 jahren kamen die ersten Ideen und Vorstellungen des Dj Daseins. Anfänglich machte er mit einfachen Programmen eigene Musik und entwickelte sich immer weiter. Er probierte sich in den verschiedensten Genres, bis er die Liebe und Leidenschaft zum harten und dunklen Techno entdeckte, aus.Irgendwann kam der erste DJ-Controller inkl. -programm, dann kamen die CD Spieler und dann die Plattenteller. Nun ist er ein DJ, der es liebt, die Menge mit seiner leidenschaftlichen Art des Auflegens zu hypnotisieren und zum Feiern zu bringen.Er brachte es sogar soweit, dass er seine eigene Veranstaltung namens “Out of Control” auf die Beine stellte. Diese Veranstaltung stand für harten und feierbaren Techno.
Seid dem Jahr 2013 hat er die Sendung "Dienstags Revolte" beim Clubsound Radio Nr. 1 in Berlin, beideeredradio.com.
Und seid dem Jahr 2014 ist er bei Lausch der Musik (LdM).

We wish every one a Happy New 2021 and are delighted to start the new year with some fresh talent from Cran Canaria: Nau Squaglia brings you one of the most popular and traditional drink from Spain: a Sangria!

In constant search for a personal and distinctive sound, and after a steady road of learning, practice and experimentation, 2020 marks Nau Squaglia´s debut as a producer and Dj as well as the first live performance in Gran Canaria, his home base.

With a musical background ranging from rock guitar to electronic music and Jazz and Blues, Nau Squaglia connected the dots to draw a musical loop that seems to result in an endless creative inspiration.
 
The love for organic sounds is present all over his tracks, combining real instruments recordings with more traditional electronic elements. His first album "Remain in Light" was released on the Spanish label Be Adult Music.

2021 will keep unfolding more fantastic works of Nau Squaglia, such as the beautiful track included in this set, which will be released on Timujin & atalkingdrum's imprint Earthly Delights soon.

Hey everyone, i wasn't sure that i was going to be doing one of these this year.I honestly just didn't feel like it up until a few days ago, until i opened Ableton and decided to give it a go. Usually i have a tracklist running for several months before i finish this mix, but this year i decided to take a different approach by just mixing it randomly (its 2020 after all planning is pointless). So this is a random walk inside my 2020 music folder including music from Daniel Avery, Eris Drew, Palms Trax, Kornel Kovacs, Omar S, Fantastic Man, Burial & Shanti Celeste just to name a few. Anyway i hope you guys like it and here’s to a better 2021.
