Kourtney, aka Rose Kourts, is a Brooklyn-based DJ, party-starter, and dance floor fixture hailing from North Carolina. She’s made a name for herself with her dynamic sets and the infectious energy she brings to her performances. She plays from the heart, encouraging listeners and dancers to go on a journey of movement, connection, and emotional release through her signature blend of crunchy, funky, groovy, hype, and hypnotic selections. 

She can regularly be found setting off Brooklyn’s dance floors - performing alongside luminaries in house and techno, throwing events, collaborating with fellow local artists, and putting out label and radio mixes. She is a co-founder and resident of Sweet Kicks, a community-focused DIY party with sounds straddling house and rave, and of In Bloom, which centers around the joy of blooming forth on a pulsing dance floor. Additionally, she is the mastermind behind a NOW compilation-inspired party of feel-good music that brings unpretentious, nostalgic favorites to the club.

Where Let's Go Dancing was built for the super-clubs of Ibiza, Fever is illicit, raw, tough, mid-tempo, hip-hop inflected rave-house - a million miles away from the watered-down genre it will undoubtedly be squeezed into - built around a visceral synth riff and brilliant vocal hook from Tiga, who has decidedly never sounded this bad-ass... it all rests on one of the catchiest, funkiest grooves either of the two gifted producers have ever made.

This package includes the original plus a selection of remixes by super-heavyweights Maetrik (aka Maceo Plex), KiNK, Tom Trago and Acid Arab.

Vera Dvale (live)
Following her interest in sound and collective listening, Vera Dvale´s current home in the circumpolar north, is frequented by friends and collaborators as sanctuary, studio and conduit. With the potential of sound itself being a temporary, immersive, shared space, she works with a series of field recordings and compositions from her nomadic studio, that intimately reflects selected places and moods. Her recent live sets are intuitive compositions, layering sound as live collages, with the aim to exercise sonic dialogues that might entangle in the ecologies of the vast landscapes of within. A similar approach is guiding the selection of records and sounds presented in her DJ sets, mix tapes and radioshows. Following «Dybden», a shared 12" with DJ Sotofett released on WANIA (2016), and the two LP´s UDU and AVAV produced with Psykovarius put out by Sex Tags Amfibia, her most current solo compositions can be found on «Garden of Feelings», an LP also inaugurating her own label «In the Neighborhood of the Sun, the Moon and the Stars». More of her music and mixtapes have been published by the labels Good Morning Tapes, Vaagner and Holuzam.

Continuing a busy run of recent releases on Minus is one of the label's core contributors, namely Jon Gaiser. Since late 2005, the Detroit-born, Berlin-based producer has been intrinsically linked to the rise and rise of the label owing to key releases like his Eye Contact EP, genre defining 2008 full length, Blank Fade, and last year's huge EP, Unstable Witness.

Drumcode storms into 2013 after releasing some superb tracks in 2012 which included celebrating their 100th release with an outstanding EP from Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg. Also releasing some exceptional tracks from artists such as Alan Fitzpatrick, Jay Lumen and Gary Beck, Joseph Capriati, Gregor Tresher, Sam Paganini, Nicole Moudaber and Ben Sims. Heading into 2013 Drumcode are keeping up the refined techno that they have displayed and are making sure that they continue to keep up this form throughout the coming year.
Roberto Capuano is a name heard before at Drumcode, releasing his debut release on the 15 year anniversary compilation with his track ‘Oblique’. Gaining support as a producer, Roberto has released on record labels such as Analytic Trail, Phobique, MKT, Monique Musique and Suara. He has gained a lot of support from Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Umek, Carl Cox and Alex Under amongst others. Roberto has also been Djing around the world at venues in Europe including the famous, “Old River Park” amongst others.
‘Vertigo’ is the A side on this four track EP by Roberto Capuano that uses reverberated kick drum’s and piano chords to create a groove that was designed for peak-time play. The second track, ‘Inversion’ uses rising and filtering synths with the use of space and influxes of pitched hi hats and percussion loops to create a 5am track that will keep people rooted to their spot. ‘New Chapter’ uses a repetitive percussion-like stab to keep the deep atmospheric sounds together over the industrial techno drums.The final track ‘Earth’ uses phased sporadic stabs to create an interesting groove that compliments the driving drums that are ever present.
