Is That What You Wanted to Hear?

We hope you enjoy our first single Language, here is a little story about the meandering journey that got us here. 

After years of making music, Conor and I (Mitch) hit a wall. Conor felt pressure to move forward, enlisting in the Navy. I went to college in pursuit of a business degree. We grew apart, and life pushed us away from music.

After college, Conor began to send me music again. Demos, recorded on his iPhone while deployed in the Persian Gulf. The demos were muddy, struggling to punch through the powerful drone of the Cruiser engine that sat beneath him.

Meanwhile, I wasn't ready to dive headfirst into the corporate pool. Instead, I would pursue a grand adventure. I set off to drive my 4Runner from Seattle, WA to Argentina.   

It was through the speakers of that 4Runner that I heard the demos that would eventually become our songs. From what Conor made in the hull of a boat on the other side of the world, music came back to me.  

Years later, I find myself wishing that we had never hit pause. Yet, without the journey, there may not be any music at all. Life isn't linear, we came back to music, and for that we are grateful.

Since, we have added two more members to the band: Anna, who blesses us with her hauntingly perfect vocals, and Daniel, our immensely gifted drummer.

We have now finished our first LP, Shapeless. Somehow, we always come back to what we love to do most.

We are working hard to get our music into as many ears as we can. But, the truth is, we don’t care what happens next. We already have everything that we will ever need. We will never stop making more of it.
