JVN, born and living in Kassel, belongs to a new generation of local techno artists representing the idea of modern, contemporary techno, in an area which is still deeply attached to the Stammheim era. Besides running several event formats successfully over the last years, his latest outcome is a series called obscene, which features advanced techno with a clear vision of sound and design. 
Striving for variability, JVN finds his taste in a broad spectrum of techno ranging from minimalistic groove driven material to a more hypnotizing approach as well as raw and pounding loop-techno.

We're back with another episode of ritual practices this time featuring @be-obscene co-founder and resident @JJVVNN from Kassel. Establishing contemporary techno sound with numerous events in and around Kassel since 2014 he and some friends founded 'obscene', a forward-thinking techno event and podcast series back in 2019 curated with a clear vision of sound, design, and aesthetics. As part of a new generation of local techno artists representing the idea of modern, contemporary techno he's heavily inspired by the likes of Oscar Mulero, Exium, Etapp Kyle, Efdemin, Edit Select & Donato Dozzy. Striving for variability, JVN finds his taste in a broad spectrum of techno ranging from minimalistic groove driven material to a more hypnotizing approach as well as raw and pounding tool-ish techno.
His favorite slot is the opening, which is also the most important in his eyes because it offers the possibility to guide the audience from the beginning to the peak of the evening setting their minds for everything following. Yu Kawabata is a Japan based techno artist.She has already managed to set a prominent mark within the industrial techno at an early stage of her career as an influential and emerging .emotions.She has been performing at notorious venues such Club Joule in Osaka.She has built her DJ career in Russia too,she performed at ARMA17,Propaganda,BLANK and several  festivals such as OUTLINE and GAMMA FESTIVAL.
Yu is developing her own unique industrial techno music style influenced by hard  metal rock,punk and all kind of music. Her unique DJ sets make the crowd into a voyage of industrial sounds with the strong dark underground atmosphere.

Ababacar Malick Diop (aka A.M.D) - Being heavily influenced by the djembe, movie scores, and video game music, the Senegalese born has fine tuned his sound over the years into a soundscape based techno. He had the opportunity to consistently perform opening sets for Rob Seurat's EXILE, therefore picking up a habit of starting a set off from scratch with ambient and gradually add life as he progresses. 

 Over the years, A.M.D has gotten the chance to display his curating at events such as SEQUENCE DC with The Gods planet (Ness & Claudio PRC), Feral and Craft at Keybar NYC, Setaoc Mass and Sophia Saze at Good Room for Dusk & Haze, and FJAAK at Flash DC. And as part of Damon Bradley's TechnoFist, he helps curate the second room for Katalyst. There, he choses various US based artists that share similar sounds to him to help balance Katalyst's trance rave influenced main room. 

 Since then, he (along with Ian Widow aka Widow) has launched a quarterly party centered around hypnotic techno and plans to inject a less explored sound to educate the crowd with the true masters of this craft: Provoke. In a sense, the underlying theme of such an event is to have your mind just as stimulated as your body, in perfect unison.
