I am a non-traditional percussionist with a unique sound.  Right from the beginning I wanted to produce the sounds I heard in my head. I come at music as an instrument for the voice of the song.  I surrender my body to the groove and offer my technical skills as a vehicle of expression.  I pride myself on being able to hear the muse and playing the beats that speak to me, without ego or attachment to what "should be." I have an innate sense of rhythm, and pay special attention to silence.  Since I am not classically trained, I won't quote obscure beat names or try shove any square pegs into round holes.  I play what the song asks for, no more, no less.
    
  I am open to studio work, as well as live performance.  I am currently looking to expand my horizons to more electronic music.  I will play with whatever makes my heart sing.
