Featuring two legendary Inner City alumni, Art Forest (producer / keyboardist / engineer), and vocalist / background dancer, Shawn Pittman. On the A side is a lush slow modern soul slow burner Dreams features a deep, spatial throbbing bass line with glistening synths floating underneath cool angelic hypnotic vocals by Pittman. “Dreams are only dreams until you make them real.” Perfect downtempo for early mornings and the post-club world. On the B side, we have 2 peak time bangers, a Prince style electro boogie hit I’m Losing Control, alongside the insane I'm Losing Control (Extended Bass-ment Club Mix), a wild late night warehouse dub remix featuring sci-fi vocal effects, fostex tape loops and ultra-heavy bass and driving drum machines. Mix of the Week #112: Gryningen - Önskebrunnen IV

This is just bonkers. The ultimate version - some kind of tiki-tinged ketamin tropico cover-version of Donna Summer's epic classic. This record is invisible and probably one of the most in demand records you could possibly showcase. It’s not a bootleg or anything like that, it’s actually from the early 1980s and it’s from Asia. Cover is also nuts with golden foil embossing. This is for sure one of the craziest if not the best of all Donna Summer covers I’ve ever heard.

Put your ears to the sand and listen to call of the asian mermaids. They sing rarely and only to those who speak the universal language of love. Sample was taken from the LP for sale. Could use a wood clean. Punch hole in the cover as with all his copied. Did someone say "all copies". This is the only one on the web...

Seldomly seen double-sider that was only released in small quantities in Germany. "IOP" is heavy cosmic pop track with a strong hook, sexy female + robot vocals. Flipside (first in sample) is an entirely different bird with mystical flute vibes floating over a cool electronic backing.

What a gem this one and took me years to source a spare. The rest is in the same style. "Raindrops" and "Should Be Dancing" are other highlights on this mega rare French session, probably with some sort of involvement by JP Massiera and his studio singers...
