"Thanks to all friends and music lovers who came out, this was definitely a legendary night that will remain in fond memory! For those who could not make it I decided to release the live recording. The selection for this set titled "Que tal America" is the product of several years of digging in Latin America, featuring mainly Peruvian but also Argentinian and Colombian productions (and some Italians, too) ranging from classic 70s orchestra-based disco, through smooth synth and city pop, tropical synth, jazzed-up psych funk to italo, cosmic disco and crazy hi-nrg wave and rock. Special thanks go out to Cobeia from @ecoutesauvert for the invitation. Thanks to Luis Alvarado from @buhrecords and Herles Falconi from @casalocasa for tips on certain Peruvian goodies, Ric Piccolo and Ariel Harari who compiled Síntesis Moderna, and Earl Orlog for an Italian gem.
