It’s high season on the White Island, and our latest Moonlight Mixtape is right on time. This week, we feature the sultry sounds of Alex Kentucky—this Ibiza power player boasts a number of residencies on the island along with a robust production history. As the head of Be Adult Music, he’s in the business of deep-organic fusion—including some of our own releases. Kentucky kicks off a selection of upcoming Be Adult tunes - among them the unreleased Cielo remix of Pinkowitz’s Cabernet Sky - with a soulful vocal number that couples some funky bass with a kick that drives the pace for the whole set. Laid-back guitar riffs and lively melodies recall seaside sunsets and Balearic beat before a tour of melodic moods and a high-energy finish evoke the primal experience of letting your troubles loose on the dance floor.
