Breaking Down

This is my first full album release. Its supposed to express a very wide range of emotions, most of which are very conflicting. There are several songs just just don't fit, but that is the point of this album.

Turbulence

I'm a bilingual singer-songwriter, so I couldn't help but translate this Patrick Watson song.

Je te laisserai des mots (English Version)

For being in the middle of the sequence, Ablution was the last song I wrote for Resubstantiation.
It was almost last second (seemingly as with everything I've written for Liminal lol), and Rowan really needed something that would hit the audience very, very hard. Its supposed to be a very emotionally gripping scene where the main character starts changing in.... not good ways. A person who you've grown attached to over the past few months suddenly changes into something you don't want to be around anymore (At least, this was my take on it when I wrote this song).
This song was heavily inspired by Ludwig Van Göransson's song Trinity, from the movie Oppenheimer. That style, with the very strong and intense buildup before the main hit was absolutely perfect for what I was trying to achieve with this song.
