Recruiting Calgary duo Smalltown DJs, and Victoria’s Neon Steve, the Canadian trifecta have created two helpings of pure four on the floor house music. First up, the producers join forces on “Let The Record Work,” a twangy head-bopper equipped with punchy rhythms and record scratches. Then on “AFN” the synth is our guide on the frantically paced single that is equally hypnotic as it is riot-inducing.
