Proving that you can never have enough of a good thing dance music legend JES unleashes not one but two remix packages for her recent emotive Beatport Trance Top 5 single Two Souls. Whereas the original mix focused on the progressive sound of trance the official remixes take the song into some very different territories. 

Package two offers a more diverse collection of mixes. Leading off with a masterful progressive trance mix from Dutch duo and Coldharbour regulars Fisherman & Hawkins. Drawing the progressive sound of the original version the remix adds a new layer of energy with looped vocals and massive crescendos that will sound at home in any peak hour set. Taking a deeper approach Chicago’s DJ Torio puts the soul back into the track. Building on a contrasting vocal arrangement  with electro bass lines which lead to a hypnotic drop of epic proportions Torio’s mix will please electro fans with an emotive twist on pure noise. Klauss Goulart drops a chaotic dubbed out intro to his dark and brooding deep trance remix. Sounds whirl around the vocals like a sonic kaleidoscope, held together by a mysterious arrangement of subtle rhythmic embellishments that collide with a dark anthemic drop. A truly alternative mix that will work great for warmups and extended sets. The U.K.’s Hampton Chills provides an innovative and radio friendly electro chill mix. Combining a subtle funky beat with pitch bending synths and atmospheric piano that reinvents the vocal melody to great effect this mix is sure to find it’s way into a variety of playlists and compilations.

Northern Elements

The winters in northern Poland can be particularly unforgiving. Granted, there’s a lot about the country that still smacks of the austere, but on this wintry night, The Bearded Man wasn’t too worried about keeping icicles from growing on his lengthy whiskers. He had shacked up for the night (week?) and was trying to shake a cold that just wouldn’t quit. Outside, the humid air coming off the Baltic Sea certainly wasn’t doing anyone any favors, and inside, a small space heater struggled to augment an archaic but happy-go-lucky stove heater. Despite the unfortunate conditions, The Bearded Man remained happy, calm, and filled with an inner warmth. He spooned in plenty of thick zurek and gulped down some of the most delicious golabki he had ever encountered. Of course, he chased each delicious bite with plenty of Zubrówka and continued to have some pretty incredible discussions with Northerns Element and Krystale. That’s why, to this day, whenever they encounter one another, they always yell “Zubrówka!" and laugh about their crazy adventures in days gone by.

Talent from Russia, that supported, by such a big names as: Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Aly & Fila, Markus Schulz and others. He is famed by its recognizable style that liked by many people.
