I started DJing in 1997 or 1998. I don't remember exactly. I was 12 or 13 years old, and I admired my mother's cousin, Thomas, who was a DJ at the time. I spent countless days and nights watching him mix in his studio. One day, I was helping him with a repair in his studio, and he said, "A little music wouldn't be bad right now. Hey Stivi, put on some of my records—you already know how it works." That was the starting signal. I found records by Jocelyn Brown, Barbara Tucker, and many more in his collection—and I felt pure satisfaction in my heart. Not long after, Thomas took me to the discotheque where he was the resident DJ. He let me play warm-ups and gave me part of his fee—which ultimately became my first job. Since then, I've worked on countless projects and have played in many clubs, festivals, and on radio shows. My passion often brought me to the brink of financial existence, which made me try to forget about music – but I haven't been able to do it so far, no matter how hard I tried. Now I'm old and experienced enough to accept that this is my life and my purpose – my friend Vaclav from Prague would say it's my destiny :) My heart beats to the rhythm of driving techno and stomping, soulful garage house ❤️
