At just 20 years old, Andrew Shobeiri AKA Rene Wise, has released a series of EPs on well-established labels including ARTS, Anemone and now Mark Broom’s Beard Man which opens it’s 2018 catalogue with this 5-tracker.

Born and raised in Brighton (UK), Andrew became instantly obsessed after hearing techno in a club for the first time. His sound is drawn from pounding kick drums, hypnotic grooves and marathon-like extended sets. His tracks have received support from the likes of Ben Klock, DVS1 and Fiedel.

Expect a lot more to come from Rene Wise.

Following a trio of universally approved EPs for EPMmusic (‘One Sound / Myth’, ‘King EP’ and ‘Z Beats’), Mark Broom returns to his own Beard Man label this March, which in the meantime has seen releases by Berlin’s Env3 and Discrete Circuit, New York’s Avision, and Brighton new-comer, Rene Wise.

Broom’s blazing ‘Fire EP’ features 3 new cuts from the UK master in his characteristic techno style, as well as a remix by Chicago’s Rondell Adams, who has previous released on the likes of Electrified Mindz, Traxmen and most notably, Jimmy Edgar's Ultramajic imprint.

Smoke Jumper's first release of the decade drops Thursday, January 23, 2020. This track was made in a small apartment in Czech during their adventures in Europe over the course of a few months. Nothing but a laptop, headphones, and a portable recorder were used. Drawing heavily on influences from Berlin and the stripped-back techno style they have been pushing forward, the duo incorporates a dreamy like state and melodic progression with transcendent vocals all over a thumping kick to make any crowd keep moving.
