The Failed States is a creative project based in an aged care facility in the leafy suburb of Wantirna, Melbourne Australia. 

Initially a recreational outlet, allowing residents to express themselves through music, poetry and sitting still, The Failed States has since taken on a life of it own. 

Anguished songs about other residents' grandchildren being too loud at the table tennis table, or laments of lukewarm, semi-set pudding were gradually replaced by powerful pieces about climate change, urban decay, relationship breakdown and stolen dentures.

There are no permanent members of The Failed States, we live on, as age, petty rivalries, and forgetfulness takes us all.

The Failed States tries to perform in the common room on the second Tuesday of every month, after lunch.

But sometimes SC will show me all the listeners , but other times they only show me the last 2 hours and I have no idea of who listened to what , it is so annoying , and I apologise if I miss anyone out , it's not deliberate , I value every single one of my listeners ! Self confessed Music Addict ! I write and play/vocalise everything myself whether it be real or synthetic . Recently teamed up with Charlotte Thornton , and together we are Charlie and the Fox , it's the best thing I have ever done musically . Char has an outstanding voice , writes amazing lyrics and comes up with melodies I would never have dreamed of , it's a partnership that works so well , and long may it continue ! ZoZo is a talented DJ from the picturesque city of Saint Petersburg, Russia. In addition to his passion for music, ZoZo is a dedicated radiologist who works at a children's hospital. He has always harbored a deep appreciation for quality music.

Though he has only recently ventured into the world of DJing, ZoZo has quickly established himself as a resident of the famed Ladoga festival in Russia. He has also had multiple successful performances at The Hangout club in North Goa (India), which have earned him both the love and recognition of his audience.

ZoZo is known for his exceptional ability to find cool, melodic tracks, which he skillfully incorporates into his dance mixes. His repertoire spans a variety of genres, including Deep House, Nu Disco, Afro House, Progressive House, Tech House, Indie Dance, Melodic House, and Techno. He has a unique talent for blending these styles to create sets that are not only technically proficient but also infused with upbeat energy and positivity.

From this corner of northern Spain, making music for the soul, because as Haleen says, music is medicine. Composing with the heart and that harmonies come from feeling before knowledge, that is the path I have chosen. Multi instrumentalist musician. Resident in Gijón, Principality of Asturias. I compose instrumental tracks and songs with my own voice and lyrics. I have no complex in exploring all kinds of musical genres because I believe that experimentation leads to discovery, in music too. And above all, being able to share my music with you, who, after all, are the ones who support me in my convictions and goals. On all my tracks I play electric guitar, acoustic guitars, bass and keyboards.
