Once time his go to Disco when he at study at junior high school (This is disallow for the under age)  One of his companion was unconsciously abecedarian him to become DJ.  This had the milestone for him to step in DJ.  What’s the DJ at the end of 80’s to 90’s at the China?  May be can put on a list of  <<Hundred Thousand Whys >> and draw it mild.  The information of this business was difficult to get.  In the process, Bernar was  few ever find in the question and answer.  Lucky, he was a Disco Dancer later, and the better was his has more chance to zero distance to touch everything about DJ.

Bernar join in the DKD DJ Team at the 3 years later, (Later change the name to Buddha Bar) at the most famous Bar Street Maoming Lu, Shanghai. Work for the DKD was indispensable factor for base oneself upon success had the status in the Club of Shanghai.  When he was 22 years old, he had the chance to perform  at the same show with famous House music legend DJ and Music Producer “Roger Sanchez”.   At the same year, across to Europe for quest and learn the new style of the music route.  He also work for DJ at  France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland.  Bernar was pride of to add “de Shanghai” to show the standpoint for conduct and action DJ from China.  To the end of Europe route, let him even more steady style of music and special performance-style.  Cause of the well social interaction, become one of the supreme arrogance of a person with great power DJ at Shanghai.  The honor of “The Most wanted DJ”
Bernar was to invite nearly from half of Shanghai China famous club for performance for the Guest DJ.  For example : DKD, Club Pegasus，Park97, Judy’s Too, Rojam, Club Fusion, La Bella, Home Bar, Barbarossa, Mao, etc…  Bernar was the one of indispensable DJ for the important function and  Big DJ Party，His want to persistence work for popularize of Club Culture.  The same stage performance with the world class DJ, for example: Roger Sanchez, Fatboy Slim, Laurent Garnier, Paul van Dyk, Takkyu Ishino, Ken Ishii, Fumiya Tanaka, etc…  In this period, Bernar de Shanghai still busy to work for music production. Gigi Lee (DJ, singer-songwriter, rapper) merges House, electronica, and dance-pop with rebellious flair. Between Berlin, Amsterdam, and London, she forges a sound as bold as her persona—unconventional, genre-defying, and crackling with fearless energy.

Her musical journey began in the UK, where she fell in love with house music. In 2020, she debuted with her moody trip-hop/electronica single "Would You Be My Valentine?", followed by a feature on "No More" (with G Spice) under W&O Street Tracks—earning "BEST NEW DEEP HOUSE" on Beatport.

By 2021, she signed with Warner Music, releasing the big beat/electronica  anthem "ISOLATION", which charted five times on NetEase China and surpassed 1 million streams in two months. Later that year, she dropped a remix EP with The Criminal Sounds, Mainterm, and Juany Bravo, and was crowned "BEST HOUSE DJ OF THE YEAR" by PYRO Music.

In 2023, Gigi completed a six-month residency at Shanghai’s Swatch Art Peace Hotel and was invited to Tomorrowland Belgium by Coca-Cola, who featured her in a global campaign.

2024 saw her London DJ debut at the iconic fetish party Torture Garden, followed by her collab "I Know" with Platinum producer Bolier during ADE Amsterdam. She later filmed striking music videos in Berlin, further cementing her presence in Europe’s electronic music scene.

Now in 2025, Gigi channeled the raw energy of Van Gogh’s Arles into her hyper-pop banger "Don’t F With Me" (with L.O.R.D.), performing it live in Berlin as a testament to her ever-evolving sound.
