Maestro Prodigy is a South African Hip-Hop musical artist and songwriter, residing in the East Rand of Johannesburg. 

Lyrical and multifaceted, Maestro Prodigy is influenced by melodic and jazzy sounds that invoke reflection and introspection. Delivered in an intelligent and amusing way. 

Maestro's musical history dates back to 2015 when he started freestyling on beats and later going on to record his first song produced by his cousin( DJ and Producer - Eika Mano) and recorded by now engineer, Zoey T. 

Maestro Prodigy’s raps provoke thoughts,  touching on social controversies and human experiences. This is delivered by means of metaphors, double entendres and other notable figures of speech, put together with a trap or rap instrumental that gives off a melodic vibe. 

The most anticipated and now released mixtape - The Meek's Tape- is a body of work that perfectly describes Maestro’s being. With a mix of upbeat and melancholic sounds while staying on the topic of humility,  the execution was superbly done.

As of 2021, Maestro is working with a long time collaborator on a joint E.P under the pseudonym Proof. The project is in its mixing and mastering phase and is set to be released later on in the year, alongside visuals and collaborations.

Every achievement has been notable for Maestro Prodigy,  from getting international curation on major platforms to meeting fans that have overcame challenges through listening to his music . 

It is safe to say that Maestro Prodigy is successfully serving his purpose.
