For this latest edition of the Beat Craft podcast series, host Ziko meets up with Noar from the Kumquat crew on a rainy Tuesday evening to spin some housey beats on vinyl in a B2B format. For extra challenge, a few glasses of wine and aromatic herbs were added to the mix, but they manage to hold it together. 

Noar is one of the original members of the now well-established Kumquat collective from Paris, firmly rooted in the city's minimal scene and regularly organizing events in the city's best-known clubs. This chilled-out mix sees the pair exploring different moods and styles, from wonky electro, deep vocal house, techy bits, to off-kilter minimal.

As a DJ friend recently said: "if you haven't understood house, you haven't understood anything".

Makes sense that he's also a competent dj - in this mix hear him meticolously moving back and forth from IDM to 4th world clouds to minimalistic rituals to postpunk ballads to slomo dubs to whatever he wants, stretching loops and never choosing the easy way, meaning to create a cinematic trip that overcome genres and never stops to amuse ⭐

Luca Redivo, in art R/D/V, was born on 8th August 1999 in Milan, Italy. The actual Techno DJ/Producer discovered his passion for music at an early age, appreciating mainly classic genres and styles of music, characterised by organic instruments.
Starting from his position of vinyl lover and careful researcher of sophisticated music, he came into contact with the Italian and international club culture, that encouraged him to create his own artistic project. His Dj Sets and productions focus on a refined sound that vary between Detroit, Dub and Berlin Techno shades; they are characterised by organic drums and analog synths, often melancholic. 
During the time spent in Milan, he had the opportunity to play in different clubs in northern Italy and, in particular, to come up with a substantial number of projects, parties and concepts in collaboration with other emerging artists. In the meantime, he came into contact with Italian and foreign record labels to which propose his productions.
