The glory, the word, the might , the salt of life-

And then-  nothing.
Whoever was left with nothing
They’d point their finger at,

and the flags with their sign:
“The Free will inherit the fear”
And out of fear, they wanted more
And out of want,  they took more
And when they got all, they would destroy
And when they got none, they’d destroy too.
And when finally everything is just fine
they’d remember
That death is the end of this.
The Free shared the might, the word, the glory,
the salt of life and the fear of the reaper.
The winners, however, don’t fear being forgotten,
because after the victory
Those things
Mean nothing
At
All.

Für die Fans der früheren Werke möglicherweise etwas ungewöhnlich, aber ich veröffentliche es dennoch. Die Idee kam mir im Urlaub auf der Kurischen Nehrung in Litauen. 
Meine Eltern sind beide früh verstorben und haben einige Rätsel mit ins Grab genommen. Sehen Eltern in ihren Kindern Objekte, die eine Funktion erfüllen sollen? Oder sind sie lediglich lästiges Beiwerk, wenn man den Erwartungen seiner Mitmenschen meint gerecht werden zu müssen? Wie die eigenen Eltern einen gesehen haben, sollte man rechtzeitig klären. Bei mir kam die Frage leider zu spät.
