It's really quite deranged. 
They raised a billion dollars each to talk shit on each others names.
Our crooked leaders, yeah the ones we should believe in.
The suit and tie with the real nice ride and the wife that he's done cheated.
Slowly taking all our freedoms. Stop acting like we don't need them.
They're passing bullshit laws before we get the chance to read them.

Look at the Sandy Hook situation, that got the whole damn nation.
Gun control, there is no hope...now put your attention onto the Pope....
Media twisting everything...
Disney channel is not the same.....
as what it was, when Mickey and Goofy did silly things.

We've got to maintain a domain where we expand our brains
so that the itty bitty kids with the smart phones at age 6 
can really make a change.

Parents need to stop relying on their career 
being the number one reason their relationships dying
with these children of today
technology won't go away
so it's up to us to get the kids outside to play.

We've all done things we don't like to do
so that we can have some food
maybe a drink or two.
See me and you, we're really quite the same 
because the dollar sign is what makes us go insane.

It controls our emotions
and forces bad choices.
The system in place
has made it hard to get our voice heard.

We can't get enough money to ever get ahead,
and the suits and ties in Washington,
they won't be breaking bread.....

So my suggestion....
let's all grow out some dreads.
Put hat pins on our flat brim 
and follow the Grateful Dead.

Meet me on shake down
and give some high fives!
I'll be the one smiling because this shit
SAVED MY LIFE!

We can share some stories.
We can laugh and cry.
When the sun goes down at night 
we'll look up at the sky.

Talk about the stars
and the things WE KNOW exist...
How we can save humanity 
and starving little kids!

Rejoice! My second original track survived the self-destructive phase of my creative process and actually reached the light of day!

I love that old-school hip-hop beat and I wanted to give it a fun take full of bouncy bass so I really hope everyone can bounce and bop to this groove that I whipped up.
