Entitled ‘Reverence’, this latest track draws heavy influence from the late and great Marcus Intalex, showcasing the rejuvenated heavy rolling sound that the duo has become synonymous with in recent years.

Defined by crisp, rolling drums, ambient synth work, and an underlying aura of luxuriant atmosphere, the melodic, almost soothing melody intertwined with ‘Reverence’ clearly draws from the inspiration of Marcus Intalex’s sound and GEST’s admiration of the early Detroit techno sound.

Last year Aydn gave us ‘No Ride Home’ for the first of our Nuggets series and we were so impressed with his fresh, youthful take on liquid that we asked him to keep sending us music. It didn’t take us too long to secure these two beauties and we hope you dig these as much as we do.

‘Circuit Prayer’ features the Mancunian wordsmith Nat James delivering some serious drip with his laid back flow and electric metaphors over Aydn’s crispy drums, fresh keys and twisting bass. Effortless!

‘Left Apart’ finds Aydn flexing his sample chops with this rushing, funky, fizzy concoction. Blippy atmospherics, r&b vocal chops and amens go down like an energising cocktail. Vibrant and zingy!

This is a free to download mashup between my tune 'Keep you safe' released last year on @beatsinmindheadsbass and the wonderful Satl Remix of Linda Diaz's 'Green Tea Ice Cream'. It all started when the awesome @prspktv doubled these 2 tracks together in his mix for Goldfat last year and I always said I'd create an edit out of these two. Beatalistics Rec. is a multi-genre label for Electronic music, run by the South-German tag team Enea & MC Fava.
