Two more time! After the successful kick-off of the remixed series of Ante Perry's album "Welcome To Perrydise", a very special
EP is now being released with REMIXED TWO. 'Homework Done' was created together with Dayne S as an homage to Daft Punk and their debut album 'Homework' from 1997. The fact that the brilliant French would actually be “Done” would still have occurred during the creation of the track in 2017 nobody thought. All the better that the musical homage appears now, shortly after the end.For the remix, Ante hired none other than Katermukke artist Roderic, whom he met a few years ago in Katerblau. Accompanied by several schnapps, the Dortmund and the Mexican discovered a mutual love for croissants - since then they have been sending each other photos of the buttery baked goods from Around The World. We celebrate the melodically driving track and thank the French guys for a quarter of a century full of musique fantastique.

Since 2017 Beat & Path have been hollowing out a niche for their particular style of vaudevillian house music. This sixth anniversary release centres the figures who've been with the label since the start – founding members Uone and Out of Sorts (Hayden and Barton Strom), as well as festival staple and label stalwart Caly Jandro. Where its predecessor was a wide-ranging affair perfect for kick-ons, "Camp Out 002" zooms in on the quintessential Beat & Path sound: thick, restrained basslines; low-tempo percussion outmatching the energy of much faster tracks; cheeky samples from unlikely sources; and that perennial cosmic wink that permeates the back catalogue. To quote Oscar Wilde, "Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about."

Dispensing with foreplay, track one ("Like a Myth") jumps straight into a bouncing, jet-black groove, with snappy claps puncturing a serrated mid-bassline. T-Bone (Tony Bartlett)'s vocals interweave the whole thing, processed to sound as if they're getting beamed in from an interplanetary radio station. It's a fearsome, stomping follow-up to the trio's more ethereal release from earlier this year, and not to be played to family members with the slightest fear of pagan rituals.

On October 30th, the day has finally arrived for us to present the new EP from @thea-schtu. We’ve been big fans of their sound for a while, which makes us all the more excited that this EP has come together.

The two original tracks showcase the duo’s impressive range of musical styles. The title track, "Odyssee," is marked by a deep melody and signature synth elements, while the second track, "No, What?" stands out with its groovier touches, yet remains unmistakably true to the distinctive style of thea & schtu.

The originals are complemented by equally diverse remixes from our friends @laaarmusic, @samahamusic, and @sydkasd. We’re very pleased with the result and would like to thank all the artists involved, as well as @haunted_water and @iorie for the mastering, and Kilian Van de Water for the striking artwork.

Spring Equinox, when day and night are in perfect balance and all things awaken with renewed vitality. At this moment intertwining equilibrium and rebirth, we proudly unveil the inaugural EP of our new release series "Voices of the Solar Terms": Mahumen's Gond Song. From now on, each album of ours will align with the celestial rhythm of the 24 Solar Terms, one of the most magical wisdom in ancient Chinese culture. Every release will mirror the essence of its corresponding season, echoing our ancestors’ reverence for nature’s cycles, their harmony with the flow of the four seasons, and their pursuit of cosmic resonance.

This EP also lays the cornerstone for our pioneering Orientempo genre. Mahumen, together with five visionary remixers, merges Eastern spirituality with the fluidity of Organic Downtempo and the depth of Spiritual Slow Tech, guiding listeners on an odyssey that transcends linear time.

Mahumen (@mamahumen) , a collective blending Swedish artist Johan and Italian artist Bubble T, crafts meditative soundscapes through their fusion of electronic folk and downtempo, rooted in Eastern aesthetics and natural philosophy. Their music paints a sonic landscape of harmony between humanity and nature.

In Gond Song, Chinese Erhu intertwines with India’s Gond tribe chants, evoking a stroll through an ethereal Eastern valley at dawn, where gentle breezes, babbling springs, and birdsong compose a symphony of nature. The Oddness (@theoddness) weaves his signature tribal percussion into Gond Song, conjuring a primal dance of wilderness.
