This initially felt a little over-the-top like faux-shred glossy-smooth-jazz, but then I realized it reminded me of video game music like Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast, so that made me really like the final product. But all that aside, I do really like the trumpet shit I laid down and the little guitar noise I made with the slide and squeal. Oh and the high-pitched odd-number-of-bars phrase, THAT's getting used somewhere. I plan to do something with these riffs in a slightly different musical context later, so I thought I'd upload this for posterity. Here's to not forgetting them.
