Shift to light speed with this exciting new project from Dutch producers Cosmic Force and Nuno dos Santos. Four straight up hardware techno tracks for sweaty bunkers and illegal warehouse raves.

Opening track Sub Mission makes you wanna dive in head first, with its testosteron infused driving energy and brutal kicks.

Klymat (here in two versions) is perhaps more subtle, but has the same goal. Just head towards that pit full of sweaty half naked bodies and dance your ass off. Listen how the loops (with beautiful subtle Indian tabla's) get the occasional push, like it is a vinyl record in a mix.

On Holy Growl it's back to the dirt in the machines. This is mean futuristic stuff for raised clenched fists and rubber hips. Head to the stars with Ultrastation.

Ultrastation - Sub Mission

Berlin based LXM steps in for our 155th Local Selection Mix with a carefully crafted techno mix. LXM has provided a masterclass three deck mix, full of incessant loops and grooves to soundtrack your Paddy’s Eve.

Louis McElveen has been hard at work in the studio, carving out a refined techno sound since his move to Berlin. LXM has been putting a large emphasis on hardware and minimal grooves into his productions, and this is shining right through to his DJ mixes.

Formally part of Armed Response Unit with longtime friend Will Boyle, Louis has shifted his style from industrial techno to a more stripped back and classic style of techno. Taking inspiration from artists such as Kaiser, Mattrixman, Dasha Rush and more, Louis has been working tirelessly to perfect this sound but with his own unique flavour.

While LXM has been quiet on the release front, he has a four track EP dropping on a Berlin label shortly, which is absolutely fantastic and shall be a perfect introduction to his newfound sound. The young producer will also be forming a new label, that will incorporate Irish producers and producers from afar to his deep vision. LXM also recently guested for fellow Dublin producer Aero’s Alternating Vitality show on 1020 Radio and the mix is an absolute cracker.

LXM’s Four Four mix is a prime example of Louis’s dedication to his craft over the last year. Never ending grooves and loops for an hour. Louis keeps the pace up and goes between tough and deep grooves, keeping an ever constant flow that doesn’t lean too heavy to either side. This is sublime mixing and selecting from a young techno craftsman at work.

Beater.gr presents the premiere of Rave Freaks In Isolation by Cosmo Lopez, which is included in the second compilation Sudor Vol.2 of Macro Hits. The purpose of this release, like the first one, is to highlight Latin American artists with tracks characterized by dancing vibes, modern, graceful air and energy that draws from the aesthetics of the art of urban graffiti. This one is distinguished by an enjoyable house mood with stimulating loops, which, in parallel, are "scattering" all over their daring, dancing "challenges" and hypnotizing us through an endless-summer pulse. Finally, the promising rather "full" in aspects sound manages to raise an "aesthetic bridge" between old and modern electronic sound currents, filling us with a long favorite euphoria.

What inspires your creative work?
Little glichtes or stumbles that I've never heard before that make a song interesting.

What is your motivation/intentions?
Just having fun? I am Djing for 9 years now and never saw it as a career or anything. I am always humbled if someone wants to book me. There is so much talent out there!

What was your first genre that caught your interest in music?
I think back in the days it was probably New Rave, French Touch, Future Garage and all this weird and short-lived crossover genres that made me turn to electronic music. Before I listened a lot to Soul, RnB, Jazz and Rap.

What is/are your most memorable moment
That’s really hard to pin down!

Describe your style in a tweet 
Oi... I’ve been playing Rap music, Jazz, Techno, House, Bass.....idk.... I am always evolving and easily bored. But currently I like to play Progressive House with my Galleur alias and very hard hitting Trance with my b2b project Surf 2 Glory.

Name your funniest playlist name.
I always sort everything by genre. Therefore, no funny surprises.

According to you, which upcoming artists should we keep an eye on?
THC, Malugi , Sedaction, Ttyfal, Evin, Zeynep, Ferrari Rot , Jessica Nightlife , Zips, DHC, Sanaz

What are your thoughts on interdisciplinarity?
We should all support each other. As soon as I dig someone’s character, energy or work, I should be supportive. Nothing else.
