In July 2019, Subconscious Tales made his original EP debut for the label. The twin-track, "Magnectares" was a wonderful snapshot of the Lithuanian's talent. Now remixes from UK and Dutch artists continue the story.

James Monro needs no introduction to the dance music cognoscenti. Regularly performing behind the decks in front of thousands at festivals and clubs across the globe including a crowd of 30,000 at the annual OZORA event in Hungary, the UK born artist has also carved out a sizeable niche for himself from his adopted Brazilian home. A production career in tandem has seen over 150 production credits to his name since a debut for Flow Records in 2004, while Renaissance, Hope and Kompakt have all played a part in Monro's growing portfolio and continued success.

A regular on Proton Music since an October 2013 debut remixing Juan Deminicis, August 2017's full-length "Into the Ether" album put Monro firmly on the underground map with an array of progressive, techno and psy-trance tracks. Taking a typically innovative approach to his remix, the central pad from "Arkaya" forms a sumptuous bed from which a languid broken beat and cavernous bassline create an entirely new sonic landscape. New motifs fire across the mid-range as a range of reverb and delay-drenched spot effects pan across the stereo spectrum. Building to a rousing crescendo in the third movement, layer upon layer of new sounds and counterpoint melodies create a sparkling new interpretation of Subconscious Tales' work.

With over a decade's experience in the world of underground dance, Kasper Koman has honed his sound through a combination of hard work, dedication and passion. Able to cross-genres with ease, a blend of "happiness, darkness and emotions" characterises the Dutch artist's sonic palette. Supported by a host of A-list DJs including Khen, Guy Mantzur and Nick Warren, Koman's work for Plattenbank, EIN2 and Manual Music, has seen him at the forefront of the modern progressive house sound. Moreover, December 2018's "Hi/First Move/Loco Motif" EP for Lost & Found saw Koman make a stellar debut from the Guy J led imprint.

Now making his Proton Music debut, Kasper Koman has transformed "Magnectares" in a wonderfully dynamic and innovative new direction. Founded upon a tight off-beat percussive groove, a heavy kick and syncopated elements from the original flow through the track providing an anchor to the original. Evolving elegantly, a new plucked motif comes to the fore while a searing analogue lead rips through the foreground, immaculately blended to the sonic palette around it. The result is a stunning interpretation that perfectly illustrates why Koman is held in such high regard.

Two magnetic new remixes from James Monro and Kasper Koman continue to pull Subconscious Tales to the centre of high-class underground dance music.

'It´s back "Skyscrapers" from Norwegian producer Carl Jurgens featuring Swedish vocalist Niso gained much critical acclaim on it's initial release back in 2012. Seven years later in 2019 Praveen Achary took the reigns and performed magic with his Extended Vocal & Dub Versions.

Now in 2020 roll we are excited to present two more new mixes of this gem this time coming from a Dutch producer Alex O'Rion who is currently HOT right now of hits on labels such as Sudbeat, Hope Recordings, Mango Alley, Replug, ICONYC, Clubsonica,. the list goes on. So we are very excited snd pleased to welcome him centre stage with his two fresh interpretations of "Skyscrapers" and what a fine job he has done on both mixes here im sure you will all agree. Alex started to experiment with music at 14 year old and was inspired by the likes of Sasha, Nick Warren and John Digweed. Although his first appearance was in the trance scene, Alex soon found out that deep progressive music was his passion.'
