"Hunk of Junk" has been written in a digital 4-track collaboration in February 2024. I started with the guitar track, SPH recorded the organ, Cheslain lyrics and vocals and Mt. Mélodie added drum track and mixed everything. When I started this song, I had no idea how it would turn out, and I am very grateful for the additions and the final mixdown.

Hello everyone!
I had a dream...
I imagined that I was able to do an "internship" with Mike Fox. He had a great idea for a song and asked me to help him with it. Of course, I didn't need to be asked twice. So I polished the brass instruments, put new strings on violins, cellos, bass and went to England. 
I had to mow his lawn before he let me in the studio, though, and I tell you, the grass was high. 😓

In the studio I had the pleasure of meeting not only Mike, but also Kim. The result is a song that simply won't leave any heart cold. 

So find someone to cuddle with, someone to dance with and have your tissues ready because it will be emotional, I promise.

An instrumental portrait shaped by the calm gray light of Puget Sound, gentle acoustic drift, and the quiet weight of the Pacific Northwest. The album blends soft oceanfolk guitar with mild electric textures, creating movements that feel patient, reflective, and tide-worn. Subtle grunge elements rise beneath the surface — soaked chords, warm overdrive, low-pulse distortion — giving the music a grounded, rain-tempered edge. Each track moves with the slow pacing of ferries, the hush of overcast mornings, and the steady presence of deep water. A coastal soundscape of calm rhythm, muted color, and the unmistakable mood of Seattle.

🎸We are a five-piece studio band mixing different genres and influences into our own sound.

The band has existed since 2015, but we only started publishing on SoundCloud and other platforms in 2024. Many of the songs we’ve released so far are reboots of tracks we wrote years ago, in case you were wondering how we managed to release over 100 tracks in one year. Before 2024 we only published on our own blog (which is now gone, replaced by a new one we barely use), so our audience was limited to a few hundred friends and acquaintances.
We’re not professional musicians! We have other jobs, and we don’t even consider ourselves musicians, at most entertainers and awareness-raisers.
