Katatonic is the stage name of Caleb Smith, a music producer from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Smith specializes in the production of Electronic Dance Music (EDM), incorporating elements from multiple genres of music in his work such as DnB, Breakbeat, Dubstep and even Industrial. Smith describes his music as a "world of Electronic madness", where face-melting basslines meet riveting drums that knock like a brick to the teeth and simple melodic structures meet sound design akin to the creations of a mad scientist.
