We're happy to announce our first white label of 2015 by the muti-instrumentalist and vocalist Chris McClenney. His diversity is what sets him apart. It's amazing to watch him find his sound direction/rhythm. We've watched him experiment with bass heaters, house music, funk, and other styles, but what we love most is that all of his production always has soul in it. 

Lately he's been on a roll with his production and singing. There's only a few people who can make music that gives us the feeling that D'Angelo does and this white label by Chris does exactly that. 

We're excited to see where Chris goes from here on out. He has our support 1000%. Enjoy and spread this to all music lovers.

The Kount - Secrets (Deeperkay Exclusive Track)

Hugely inspired by Flying Lotus' latest record "Your'e Dead!", I wanted to hear the sounds of 'Siren Song' being placed in another context. I took the vocals form Angel Deradoori and sampled a few bass, fx and harmonical parts to create my own version. Enjoy!

Plastic Sunsets is a song about artificial beauty — sunsets recreated by failing technology, glowing unnaturally against the desert sky. This track fuses retro synth tones with lo-fi textures, giving the illusion of warmth and color in a world where the real sun feels distant. The sound is dreamy yet unsettling, like watching a hologram of paradise projected over ruins. Every note pulses with nostalgia and decay, suggesting that even beauty has become synthetic in Miami 2059. Plastic Sunsets captures the loneliness of illusions — how even light can become hollow when it no longer belongs to nature.
