Multi-Instrumentalist, Vocalist, Producer, DJ and Performer, Matt Carey brings a breath of fresh air to the decks in a saturated dj culture.
While seamlessly blending original productions with his favorite tracks, he laces live vocals and instrumentation that would have any inattentive spectator fooled into thinking it was a part of the record. Carey’s vocals with live automated FX bring a unique intimacy and improvisational magic that sets him apart.
As a solo performer and member of live house trio “Agents of Vibe” Matt has been direct support for renowned acts such as, Bonobo, Atish, Francesca Lombardo, Thomas Jack, Thugfucker, Kate Simko, etc. 
Matt has releases on acclaimed record labels, HotBoi records, Soul Clap records, Deeplomatic, StayBad and Bar 25 records. Since 2016 he has released 2 full length albums, “Born into Babylon” and “Xtra Curricular Communication”

I have loved music my whole life, started off as a singer at the age of 3.  Through various musical exploits I landed in the world of electronic music and fell in love with the ability to bend bass frequencies.  There will be a day when I produce but as of now I stay on the grind looking for beats to blow minds, whether they be from my friends or just artists that I have found and inspire me.
