Meteor c’est la rencontre de Kala et Jedeon, deux étudiants en école de graphisme. Kala est issu d’une culture empreinte de rock et de hip hop, tandis que Jedeon a lui reçu une formation de musicien plus conventionnelle avec passage par le conservatoire, l’apprentissage du solfège et du piano.

Leur démarche artistique consiste privilégier la qualité à la quantité et ne sortir que des morceaux aux univers singuliers. Leur style, résultat de diverses expérimentations musicales et de recherches quotidiennes, est proche du trip hop. Leur son est imprégné de diverses références, oscillant tour à tour entre des influences klezmer, jazz, mais passant également par la bossa nova ou la black music. Meteor est une sorte de melting pot des cultures.

Wild Window (Featuring Tricky Trio)

Deep into the nature, lost in the river, with your soulmate, having the time and space following your flow, feeling free, and surrounded by true hearted people. Oscar and Gladys, in less than two weeks, became our spiritual family. The time stoped as we worked alongside them and shared our knowledge, our passions and our feelings. 
After two weeks we were about to leave Ayutun Hue (Beloved Land in Quechua), feeling sad but full of love and happiness.
The scent of dulce de leche being prepared was in the air, Lisa was sitting outside the house facing the cows and sheeps in the field and was playing her guitar.  I ran inside, brought my recorder, and asked her to play again. Capturing this recording was not just about the sound of the guitar but rather about capturing the essence of that very moment.
At the heart of the song exists that special recording surrounded by the music of the nature being the soul of this entire composition.
It has all the energy, the emotions, and feelings of this precious moment. Listening to this track every time takes us back to that magical moment, the landscapes, the scents and flavors. 
Three years later, this track has grown, has traveled with us, has met new partners. Andre, Lisa’s Father was the first one to join to this story, in Argentina. Then came Patrick in Nicaragua, bringing some latest vibes to it. 
I am still dreaming about this project story, going further until there’s nowhere left to go. This is a lifetime project, one of these moments that never stops, that you will never forget.
