AUStere!Funktion engineering service subversively operating from the neo-laboratory of discombobulated grooves.
Rejecting the lyrical and musical excesses of rock music, AUS!Funkt combines the groove of electronic music with the subversive aggression of post-punk. The lyrics, spoken and sung, provoke the mind with their realism and repetition. Electronic beats seduce the body into movement, freeing it from its torpor. On top, the guitar spurts out clouds of noise, while the bass supplies the melody. AUS!Funkt assaults the senses and uneases the mind while you dance to its unsettling disco beats.

AUS!Funkt  could be considered post-punk, but in a really broad sense - post-punk influenced punk, disco, electronica, funk, rock'n'roll, garage rock, dub, blues and whatever is stripped down, raw, unrefined and mentally intriguing. AUS!Funkt  follows the aesthetic of simplicity, repetitiveness and minimalism with an unsettling but curious undertone.

Once upon a time…

Studios Singuliers est né de la volonté de 3 designers freelances Camille, Basil et Sébastien, qui, un beau jour, en ont eu marre de travailler sur leur canapé en pyjama, avec en fond sonore la machine à laver en cycle essorage.

Après quelques mois de recherche, ils ont décidé de changer leur vie, et, sans le savoir encore, celle de pas mal d’autres futurs coworkers.

Les Studios Singuliers ont ouvert en septembre 2012, dans l’hôtel d’entreprises Paris Nord Express, un endroit sympathique, tout neuf et bourré de start-up innovantes mais, avouons-le, au milieu de nowhere. Les coworkers qui n’étaient pas effrayés par les grues de chantier, y trouvaient un cadre de travail calme et agréable mais surtout et c’est ce qui fait la force des studios aujourd’hui, partageaient leur singularité pour créer leur complémentarité.
