Sound Signature: A symbol or icon defined by things heard. No sound is wrong. No sound is too elusive to escape arrangement, one's signature.

Sound Signature: An event, emotion, or feeling described by sound, but not limited to it. Expression given a direction. A focus through arrangement, our personal language at any given moment. No one can duplicate your signature, your mark, your life.

The difference between imitation and emulation is specific experience. No one else has walked your path, lived your vision.

There is no right or wrong way, only different ways as there are different people. We will learn reverence from each other through expressing our symbols, our hieroglyphs. This is my attempt to share mine.

Born in Kingston Jamaica & replanted in Canada, reggae artist Mikey Dangerous has been infusing the musical landscape with quality reggae for over a decade earning him international recognition as a solid, multifaceted performer & recording artist. His repertoire blends traditional roots reggae, upbeat rhythms, intoxicating melodies, & a voice that resonates with clarity & conviction.

Chart topping songs such as “Step with the Father” “Africa The Beautiful” “Protect Me Jah” “Higher Than High" and “Wake Up” have made Mikey Dangerous a household name on the Canadian Reggae scene and without a doubt, have helped to crown him as a lyrical force to be reckoned with.

He is the proud winner of the prestigious JUNO award for "Reggae Recording of the Year" for his single "Don't Go Pretending" (2008) and a second nomination for his hit single “Wake Up” (2015).

Having recently entered into a new partnership with Rebel Vibez in collaboration with TOTC, Mikey Dangerous has embarked on a new path, but remains on the same mission to touch the hearts & lives of all who hear his music.

Michael Trommer is a Toronto based producer and sound artist; his experimental work has been focussed primarily on psychogeographical explorations via the use of field recordings.

He has released material on an unusually diverse roster of labels, both under his own name as well as 'sans soleil'. These include Transmat, Wave, Ultra-red, and/OAR, Audiobulb, Audio Gourmet, Gruenrekorder, Impulsive Habitat, Stasisfield, Serein, Flaming Pines, 3leaves and con-v. 

Michael also creates gallery-based audio installation work; He has exhibited work at Australia’s ‘Liquid Architecture’, 'from 0 to 1 and back again' at Kunsthalle Schirn in Frankfurt, Cordoba, Spain's art:tech and soundLAB in Köln. His music has also been included in Dodi Nash’s ‘Listening Shell’ installation, on permanent exhibit at London’s Victoria and Albert museum. 

He has performed extensively in North America, Europe and Asia,, including events with members of Berlin's raster-noton collective, as well as the 2008 and 2013 editions of Mutek's acclaimed a/visions series. He also regularly improvises with Toronto-based AI collective 'i/o media'.

In 2011, Michael's 'ghostwood' project was awarded a major audio arts grant from the Canada Council for the Arts.
