Who is Kool?
 
KoolKard’s journey began at the age of nine when he started jotting down his thoughts to free up some mental space after his mother passed away. At first, creating music was just routine therapy to cope with the pain, but then that routine grew into a deeper love; hence turning him into a prisoner of the art. KoolKard found himself writing songs and telling stories of past experiences that moved his soul. At the age of 14 he was raising himself, and his experiences along the way became a playground for his creativity. Those experiences enabled him to diligently paint unmasked pictures with words. KoolKard tells his own story and takes pride in writing honest lyrics that people can relate to.
 
People often ask, “Who is KoolKard”. KoolKard is a pseudonym used by a southern boy from Mississippi, currently residing in Atlanta, who happens to love entertaining his fans unconditionally, whether it’s performing, acting, hosting or writing songs. KoolKard promotes knowledge of self. No matter what he does in life he is an individual, and most of all, knows who he is and what he stands for. Throughout his quest, he has worked with several artists and producers such as: DeVante Swing (Jodeci), Imajin (Universal), City High, Oji Pierce (Ruff Endz, Montel Jordan, Dixie Chicks, Sam Salter) and many more. He has also opened up for the multi-platinum selling group Destinys Child, and the international Reggae artist Sean Paul.
