Oaxaca is known to be one of the most special places to experience Día de los Muertos so, this year, when I was invited to play it and at my favorite set time, I jumped at the opportunity. There is something so special about the 7am set time -- the sun has just come up and you are in control of whether the crowd sticks around or heads to bed. Everyone is at their most raw, unguarded states, proud to have made it through the night and eager to celebrate a new day. And that is exactly what this crowd did, and they damn sure did it well!

Thanks to a beautiful twist in time, we welcomed Unders to close The Seekers of Light ADE '22 showcase on the Saturday Day Event. This closing slot was initially meant for Viken Arman, but as it happen our Viken missed his plane. The upside of hosting events during ADE is that you likely find a replacement that you love and adore.

IN COMES UNDERS! He was on his way out after successfully hosting his own showcase on Thursday, but lucky us we managed to snatch him before he left.

A magnificent set followed! The element of surprise in this last minute performance carried out throughout his performance and he managed to take us on the perfect journey.

Perhaps his best performance in our Babylon up to this date.. What do you think?

Unders - The Seekers of Light ADE Showcase 2022

Here is the live recording of my sunrise set at Envision Festival, 2023. 

This set features tons of unreleased music from my label Sol Selectas, coming out in 2023. I also got to play several of my favorite feel-good classics.  I was only supposed to play 2 hours, but Envision was kind enough to let me continue for another 30 minutes. The energy of the beautiful crowd was pure electricity, and kept me going. Thank you to the lovely crowd of sun worshipping dancers, the Stage managers and Sound techs, and the festival organizers. Enjoy this audio journey, and for those who there, I hope it brings back some timeless memories of that special morning we shared together.   Pura Vida!
