Komenda (INVŌKER Remix) | DHI | Premiere

The fourth Applied Magic release comes courtesy of Komenda, two alluring Süßboys from the flatlands of the North German Plain.

All tracks are unique in their own little way, just like the minds that created them. A manifestation of the idea that art must constantly move forward, that there are still new ideas and uncharted territories out there. You just have to seek them out.

Tunno could be best described as the sound of a dying dial-up modem, sending stuttering morse code to the depths of interplanetary space. Reminiscent of 90s bleep sound, warped and filtered through a prism of contemporary, cutting edge dance music.Guaranteed goosebump material!

356 really has its own pulse. 5 to the floor, straight yet broken, an everchanging, perpetually repeating mantra that just sticks in your head and never leaves you again. An unlikely earworm if you just let it catch you.

French hypertalent INVŌKER's remix for Tunno takes the original and wraps it up in a warm and cozy blanket. Classic Detroit pads meet a colorful, almost Balearic sound design with the monochromatic, angular original melody still shining through, transporting it from outer space to outside - somewhere near the beach.

The whole package is topped off with an artwork by David Kochs, who is not only a singular producer and DJ but obviously a really good designer as well.

After the last massive releases, SNOE is happy to up the stakes with an EP from the labelboss himself Andreas Henneberg. With him on board he has Luca M and Channel X. This four track banger gets right into a funky mood with „Proper Job“ and it’s on spot kicks accompanying driving hihats and spinning sounds. „On The Fat Tracks“ rips up the dancefloor with it’s wobbling synth and catchy percussions. This combined with an uplifting vocal piercing through the rolling groove brings the energy level in this song to the max. Luca M’s remix of “Proper Job” gives a nice acidic techno twist to the EP with some killer groove-work and the touched up vocal. Channel X takes the vibe of “On The Fat Tracks” and turns it into a freaky dance kick in their own style with a pushing bassline moving forward with the twisted synth in what becomes an ever-escalating synergy of moving sounds. [Suara 224] D-Formation - Balkia (D-Nox & Beckers Remix) Snippet

The debut EP from electronic live duo Stereocalypse on Siamese Records.
Title track ‘Lace Star’ is a subtle yet hypnotic record. Sterocalypse utilise the full duration of the track to add layers to an ever evolving soundscape, with a guitar, echoing synths and a subtle bassline coming together towards the track’s climax.
It’s followed by the humorously titled ‘Not A B Side’, an atmospheric cut with a fusion of percussive and electronic elements giving it an exotic feel. The EP rounds off with ‘Shandy’s Eagle’; showing a little more of the duo’s experimental side, its trippy synth layers and soft bassline make for an ideal way to round off this eclectic EP.
Stereocalypse aim to combine experience and instinct, analog feeling and modern textures in their boundary-free work. A completely new project from two experienced producers, the ‘Lace Star’ EP is a statement of intent from the duo.

Enlisting the talents of Einmusika and Katermukke alumnus Lake Avalon, the artists put together a captivating, string-heavy piece centered around a meandering bassline entitled You Caress.

Moonwalk take on remix duties, morphing the track into an intense synth-heavy construction coiled around the soaring vocal.

No Body No Pain dives into the dark corners of melodic Techno through a whirlwinding exploration full of dynamism, while Because I Like It blends grave synths with dreamy atmospheres, courtesy of Angiuli’s ethereal vocal delivery.

Sam Shure’s remake is infused with the emotional energy of the original, whilst plunging into its own wormhole of glitched vocals and undulating synth loops.
