Mar+Mer is the collaboration of a hugely talented duo that after a night out with their sounds you will want to know personally. Their productions impact deep into your soul, you will want to press repeat but also want to know, embody, be the people behind the music. The addictive beats they produce have an essence of rawness and magnetic appeal.

Collectively, their music is derived from four decades of modern music marked by an energetic performance of enthusiasm; positive auras, infectious melodies, and bouncy rhythms spilling onto the dance floor amidst a sea of good vibes.

Marshall is a charismatic character whose calmness and intrigue into the world generally, is addictive. His creative partner in crime, Mermand has an uplifting and energetic outlook on life that compliments the creative music scene that they frequent and command.

Marshall was born into a musical family, he began his love for music in Washington, DC. His dad, Pete Marshall, who enjoyed success as an RCA recording artist and his late godfather, Van McCoy, famed Composer of “Do the Hustle,” were his first influences. It is no surprise that his love for music would propel him into a musical career.

London raised Mermand’s love of electronic music began at a young age in the dynamic house music club scene of London where he was able to combine his classical music background with his passion for electronic music.

With them both having successful releases on major house music labels, the joining of these two already strong DJ/producers and the contrast of the music has never made a crossing of the seas such an attractive prospect to listen to.

They have travelled the world and continue to do so although they also manage this around residencies in Dubai. Together their creative minds give an overview of the music scene that is well worth following.

Freshness, groove and love of the electronic music. Carlos Chavez is a Canary Islands DJ with more than 12 years of career and more than 20.000 mensual listeners in Soundcloud. He is DJ resident of Papagayo Beach club, the best club in Tenerife and the most recognized club of Canary Islands. There, Carlos has been playing music in his native island and positioning himself in the national scene for more than 10 years.

The music that Carlos plays is characterized by being fresh and dynamic. Carlos devises and executes his sessions for the creation of energetic atmospheres, and transports listeners to stimulating ambiences, where they can enjoy nightlife and the dance floor. He always leaves his distinctive mark as a DJ with his characteristic sound and polished technique and elegant and attractive taste.

In 2020, Carlos Chavez creates his own personal label Soleá, and currently has his own radio show on the renowned Balearica Music radio station. His recognition in the Canary Islands and in the national and international scenes is constantly growing. With his wide range of experience and his refined technique, in his sessions Carlos Chavez invites us to listen to suggestive melodies and sounds, to get carried away by paradisiacal atmospheres and to enjoy nightlife.

Theo Meier is a Vienna based producer and DJ, who discovered his talent at an early age. As a kid, he started composing his own music on piano and discovered music theory basics on his own. He released his first tracks  on Traum Schallplatten’s infamous Tour de Traum, followed by an EP on Einmusika Recordings titled “Go-Sig-Nu”, which showed his serious ambition. It was only a matter of time until he gained international attention and has since released on labels such as Poesie Musik, Get Physical and Stil Vor Talent. 
 
Theo’s sound ranges from deep and organic house to melodic techno while keeping his unique and signature sounds composed of moving harmonies, catchy grooves, and warm synth sounds. By incorporating new and unique elements into his sets and productions, he is able to inspire emotions and set himself apart from the norm. Currently, he runs his own label Weltn Audio and promises of more surprises on the way while continuing to deliver his passion in the best way possible.

DJ / Producer and event organiser based in Melbourne, Australia.

Ben hails from Melbourne originally but spent almost 20 years growing up overseas - living in Africa and Asia, and travelling all over the world. This international upbringing has translated across to a diverse taste in music and unique approach to production.

Since returning to Melbourne he has immersed himself in its electronic music and festival scene, hosting notable underground events at parks, beaches, warehouses, and venues all across the city.

All the while becoming a talented DJ, he has played at some of Melbourne’s best clubs - including Revolver, Glamorama, My Aeon, Bourke St Courtyard, 524 Flinders, Colour, Brown Alley, and Electric, among others. 

The last year has seen him go from strength to strength, with a debut single release breaking into the Beatport charts, various podcast releases including a set for the renowned Flow Music series, and recent festival slots at Let Them Eat Cake and Beyond The Valley to top it off. 

With a focus on pushing an emotive brand of dance music, Mode B has a layered and varied sound that effortlessly straddles between melodic, progressive, afro house, and indie dance. 

His debut track 'Pertama' peaked at #74 in the Progressive House Top 100 hype charts on Beatport, and the VA Compilation it featured on peaked at #9 on the Progressive House Charts and #27 on the Melodic House and Techno Charts.

With a debut EP currently in the works, stay tuned to hear more of his original works in the near future!
