I'm a Fort Worth area jazz guitarist that has worked extensively around the DFW Metroplex, mostly as a sideman, since I was 15 years old. I'm a regularly featured artist at top metroplex locations like The Hotel Crescent Court, The Dallas Arboretum, and Neiman Marcus (special events).  In 2009 I was one of a handful of local artists to be featured at the Winspear Opera House for the Grand Opening Week of the Dallas Center For the Performing Arts.  I was commissioned for two solo jazz guitar performances.  

My musical quest is to always "say something", in the way that Jim Hall, Lester Young, Miles Davis or Louis Armstrong would "say something". Jazz and improvised music is about creating a work of art, as with a great painting, a great film, or a great piece of literature. For me, music is about playing from the heart, and trying to connect to other human beings in a way that is meaningful and positive.

North London Music players, self released their own album called 'WAA!! radish in March 2016.  Then did it again with their short album ‘No 1 Luxury Band’ in 2020.  Now they’re releasing tunes for their next release ‘like a ghost’. We love you all very much.

Samir, shrewd lover of all things music, finger forever firmly planted on the pulse, always up to date on the latest heart-render. He strokes his beats from behind the block and if you listen hard enough you might just hear, flowing from his headphones, Technotronic and Alan Braxe. For him fever is forever, strident cadence never. Dancefloor madness will ensue…
