There are very few performers who can captivate audience was just vocals and guitar alone - but Dave Dow is certainly one of those anomalies. His contagious humour and charismatic personality shines through stopping past passer-bys in their tracks as he demonstrates his musical aptitude and vocal skills on an eclectic range of styles ranging from Motown classics to the current top 20. As a performer, there is little Dave hasn't mastered. Playing in bands since he was 16, he has always worked part time in the music industry, often supporting his love for the craft with mundane work elsewhere.
But this wasn't going to be the case for long - it's not like you can keep a performer of this calibre out of the spotlight, so in 2003 he put everything else on hold and started pursuing music full-time. He hasn't really looked back since. Dave traversed the globe performing in every outpost in Australia, to Naru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Fiji, Vanuatu, South Africa, China, (Canada and USA as Busby Marou’s Bassist).

When not travelling overseas Dave has opened shows, supported and collaborated with some of the biggest names in the Australian entertainment industry, and some impressive international visitors. From the likes of Wendy Matthews, Coloured Stone, James Morrison, Yothu Yindi, The Whitlams, Busby Marou, Darlene Zschech, Marina Prior, Jimmy Little and David Campbell, to the President of Naru, Tony Royster Jnr (USA), Ministry of Sound (U.K), Lucky Dube (Sth Africa), King Kapisi (NZ/Samoa) and band members of Al Green, Rhianna, Beyoncé, Whitesnake (USA), he moulds his musical style to suit any occasion. So versatile is this performer that he's gone from grooving through the hits of Motown one set, to lending his vocals to the plastic pop hits of the current charts just to suit his audience. From Country to the 'Crooners' era, then Aussie favourites to Gospel, it doesn't matter to Dave - it's all music and it's all about audience relevance and their enjoyment. The breadth of his repertoire is impressive and can master songs not only by some of  the most legendary artists of our time, but also perform songs from chart topping female artists on occasion. This is an impressive demonstration of his skill as a musician and the multi-instrumentalist makes everything look like it's the easiest transition to make in the world. It's no surprise to find that he can play in front of any kind of audience from aboriginal communities to schools and backpacker hostels, corporate events, Australian Parliament House, Prisons, Hospitals, Restaurants and Churches. 


Dave Dow’s blend of Roots, Soul, Funk, Reggae, Hip Hop/R&B, Jazz, Gospel, Motown, Soft Rock and current hits means his music appeals to everyone regardless of age or musical preference.

Obsessed with singing since earliest memory, LeahJet's passion for professional performance ignited in 2010 following a stint on stage as a panelist and performer out front of the RocKwiz Orkestra.  After fronting several local rock cover bands, Leah began performing solo as Kissing The Flint at the dawn of 2015.  Selection for the 2017 Queensland Music Festival’s  Songs That Made Me mentorship program in Gladstone for emerging regional, female singer-songwriters provided invaluable inspiration and guidance from established artists such as Katie Noonan, Clare Bowditch, Deborah Conway, Hannah Macklin and Hayley Marsten to create more original music.  Leah began focusing more intensively on her original songwriting and has since also been mentored on voice and songwriting with Tania Doko (Bachelor Girl).  Six original songs as Kissing The Flint for a debut EP Unconditionality blossomed, were recorded at High Lion Studio near Gladstone, Queensland and released in May 2019.  Her second, full length album comprising 12 new tracks is currently underway back at High Lion and is due for release in 2021.

Gently fall into the cathartic dream that is Acyyx. A project by Australian based solo singer and songwriter, Andrew Ball. Each track is unique in its own right, and tells a story of everyone's strength to overcome pain and suffering.
